This document provides instructions for the Blackstorm Serenity TKL RGB Gaming Keyboard.
Safety Information
Please read and keep these instructions for future reference. Following these safety instructions ensures safe use and prevents damage to the device or personal injury.
- Before use, ensure all parts listed in the technical specifications are present and intact. Do not use if parts are missing or damaged.
- Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact your retailer or an authorized service center for defective parts.
- Remove all protective plastic and labels from the device.
- Use the device only in dry indoor environments at room temperature.
- Do not expose the device to water, liquids, fire, direct sunlight, heat sources, extreme cold, or corrosive substances.
- The device can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, if supervised or instructed on safe use and understanding the hazards. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- Fully charge the battery when the level is low and regularly, even if not used often.
- Charge the battery in a dry area free of flammable or explosive substances, at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
- Ensure the charging port, charger, and socket are dry before charging. Do not charge if wet.
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface during charging. Do not let the device or cable hang over edges or create tripping hazards.
- Use only a compatible CE-marked charger with a 5V USB output and 500mA current. A charger is not included.
- The charger's power output should be between 0.2W and 3.3W for maximum charging speed.
- Plug the charger into an easily accessible socket.
- Do not charge the battery unattended.
- If the device emits unusual odors or lights during charging, stop charging immediately and contact service.
- Grip the plug when unplugging the cable from the device or charger; do not pull the cable.
- Unplug the cable when the battery is fully charged.
- Never damage the device's battery.

Parts
The keyboard has the following parts:
- Charging Connection
- Connection Selector
- Indicator Lights

Indicator Lights
The keyboard has four indicator lights located to the right of the ESC key:
- The top indicator light (N) is lit when Caps Lock is active.
- The second indicator light from the top (C) is lit when a wireless connection is established. This indicator light is blue.
- The third indicator light from the top (W) blinks when the battery is low. This indicator light is yellow.
- The bottom indicator light (G) is lit when the keyboard battery is charging. This indicator light is white.
Charging
Fully charge the keyboard battery before first use. Charge the battery even when it is low.
The battery is low when the indicator light next to the ESC key blinks yellow.
To charge the battery:
- Connect the USB-C connector to the charging port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A connector to a USB port on your computer or to a power adapter.
- If using a power adapter, plug it into an easily accessible power outlet.
Note: A power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.
Check that the charging indicator light is on:
- The indicator light is white when the battery is charging.
- The indicator light turns off when the battery is fully charged.
When the battery is full:
- Remove the USB-C connector from the keyboard.
- Remove the USB-A connector from the computer or power adapter.
- If using a power adapter, unplug it from the power outlet.
Usage
You can use the keyboard wirelessly via Bluetooth or a 2.4 GHz connection. You can also use the keyboard wired by connecting it to your computer with a USB cable.
Note: To use the keyboard wirelessly with a 2.4 GHz connection, connect the receiver to the USB-A port on your computer. The receiver is located in the compartment under the keyboard.
Establishing a Wireless Connection
Using the Connection Selector
At the top of the keyboard, there is a connection selector with three settings: G, OFF, and B.
- Use the G setting for a 2.4 GHz wireless connection. Move the connection selector to the left.
- Use the OFF setting for wired use. Move the connection selector to the middle.
- Use the B setting for a Bluetooth connection. Move the connection selector to the right.
2.4 GHz Connection
- Connect the receiver to your computer's USB port.
- Move the connection selector to the left (G setting).
- Press Fn and Q simultaneously. The blue connection indicator light will start blinking.
- The blue indicator light will turn off when the connection is established.
Bluetooth Connection
You can save three different Bluetooth devices in the keyboard's memory. Press the following key combinations to connect to devices:
- Fn and E: Connect to device 1.
- Fn and R: Connect to device 2.
- Fn and T: Connect to device 3.
- Move the connection selector to the right (B setting).
- When connecting Bluetooth to a new device for the first time, press one of the desired key combinations (e.g., Fn and E). The blue connection indicator light will start blinking.
- Select "Serenity KB" from the Bluetooth pairing list on your device. The blue indicator light will turn off when the connection is established.
- The keyboard will save this device to the selected key combination. You can reconnect to this device later by pressing the same key combination.
If you do not connect via Bluetooth within two minutes, pairing mode will turn off. Press any key to activate pairing mode again.
Establishing a Wired Connection
- Move the connection selector to the middle (OFF setting).
- Connect the USB cable to the USB ports on the keyboard and computer.
When connected via USB, the keyboard charges automatically. The white indicator light is on during charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged.
Lighting Settings
You can customize the lighting settings for the W, A, S, and D keys, and the arrow keys.
To customize lighting settings:
- Press Fn and the apostrophe key (') simultaneously to start customization. The apostrophe key is located next to the Enter key.
- Press the key whose settings you want to customize to select the lighting effect. Press the key repeatedly to choose from seven color settings.
- Press Fn and the apostrophe key (') simultaneously to save the settings.
- To clear the settings, press Fn and the apostrophe key (') twice in a row.
Key Combinations
The keyboard has various key combinations that allow you to customize lighting settings or control computer settings and functions. Refer to the tables below for key combinations.

Cleaning, Storage, and Recycling
- Clean the device with a dry cloth. Do not use other cleaning tools, detergents, or sharp objects.
- Store the device in dry indoor environments at room temperature.
- Store the device in its original packaging if not used regularly.
- Safe Product Disposal: The device or its accessories should not be disposed of as regular household waste at the end of their lifecycle. Return the device for recycling at your retailer or a local waste management facility responsible for recycling. For more information, contact your retailer or waste management company.
