- Carefully check the heated underblanket before each use for signs of wear or damage.
- Do not use if there are signs of wear, damage, or improper use on the device, switch, or cables, or if the device is not working.
- The heated underblanket may only be operated with the supplied control unit (HU 662).
- Before connecting to power, ensure the device is switched off and the voltage matches your mains supply.
- Do not use while folded, creased, tucked into the bed, or wrapped around the mattress.
- Use the four sewn-on rubber bands to secure the underblanket to the mattress corners, ensuring it lies flat and without creases. Check position before use.
- The control switch and lead must not be placed on or under the blanket or covered in any way during use.
- On adjustable beds, ensure the power cable and underblanket do not get caught in hinges or crumpled during adjustment.
- Do not pierce the blanket with safety pins or other sharp objects.
- Do not use on children, disabled, sleeping, or heat-insensitive persons unable to react to overheating.
- Children under 3 years must not use this device due to their inability to react to overheating.
- Children over 3 years may use the device only with supervision or proper instruction from a parent or guardian.

Operation
- We recommend switching on the heated underblanket 30 minutes before going to bed.
- Plug the blanket into the mains outlet and move the selector switch from position 0 to position 1. The power LED will light up.
- When switching between levels, the indicator lamp flashes briefly twice, then stays on permanently.
- You will feel the blanket gradually warming up, which is more noticeable when covered with a quilt.
- If a higher temperature is required, move the switch to position 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
- If the blanket feels too warm, slide the switch back to position 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1.
- Levels 3-6 are for heating; levels 1-2 are for continuous operation.
- The heated underblanket automatically switches off after approximately 180 minutes of continuous operation.
- To switch off, return the switch to position 0. The power LED will go out.
- Unplug the blanket from the mains outlet after use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Before cleaning, unplug the blanket and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
- The heated underblanket has a removable control unit (HU 662). Unplug the control unit by pulling out the connection cable from the blanket's plug.
- Clean the blanket dry with a soft brush or as per the printed care instructions.
- Never use harsh detergents or stiff brushes.
- Lay the blanket flat on an absorbent surface to dry.
- Only use the blanket again once it is completely dry.
- Reconnect the control unit cable to the blanket.
- Untangle the cable periodically if it becomes twisted.
- Let the blanket cool down completely before folding and storing.
- Do not fold it too tightly. Store the blanket folded in its original carton in a clean and dry place.

Warranty and Repair Terms
- The warranty period for medisana products is three years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice) is required for warranty claims.
- Defects in material or workmanship will be repaired free of charge within the warranty period.
- Warranty service does not extend the warranty period for the unit or replacement parts.
- The warranty excludes damage due to improper treatment (e.g., non-observance of instructions), tampering by the customer or unauthorized third parties, transport damage, and accessories subject to normal wear and tear.
- Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit is excluded, even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.
