Product Description
The ATEN CE250 is a console extender featuring built-in PS/2 and ASIC chip technology. It enables remote users to connect to and access server devices through a console extender. Installation is simplified, requiring only cable connections without the need for additional tools or software.
Features
- Utilizes Cat 5 cable for connection between local and remote units, supporting distances up to 150 meters. ATEN recommends using Cat 5 STP cable.
- Dual Console Operation: Allows control of the system from both the local and remote PS/2 keyboard, mouse, and monitor consoles.
- Automatic Gain Control: Automatically adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance.
- Push button selection for sequential selection between local and auto mode.
- Built-in ASIC ensures greater reliability and compatibility.
- Supports DDC2B for local monitor, facilitating display data channel communication between the graphics card and monitor.
- Supports VGA, SVGA, and Multisync Monitors.
- Multiplatform support includes Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Linux.
