The ATEN CL5808N is an 8-port KVM switch featuring an integrated 19-inch LCD monitor and a touchpad keyboard module, housed in a dual-rail slideaway chassis. It allows users to control multiple computers from two PS/2 or USB KVM consoles. A rear console port enables optional control from an external console.
The unit's dual-rail design allows the LCD monitor and keyboard module to be extended independently. This facilitates space-saving in data centers, where the keyboard module can be retracted while the slim LCD screen remains extended and flush-mounted for monitoring computer activity.
