The FiiO CP13 features several controls and ports for operation:
- Playback Controls: Located on the top panel are buttons for Stop [square symbol], Fast Forward [double right arrow symbol], Fast Rewind [double left arrow symbol], and Play [triangle symbol].
- Cassette Access: A Cassette door provides access to the cassette mechanism, with a visible Cassette window.
- Controls: A Volume knob is present for adjusting audio levels.
- Indicators and Ports: A Charging indicator light signals the charging status. A USB port (marked "POWER IN") is used for power supply and charging. A 3.5mm headphone out jack is available for audio output.
Cassette Operation
Take out and Put in the Cassette
To insert or remove a cassette, open the front cassette door. Place or remove the cassette as shown in the diagram, then close the door securely.
Charging
The CP13 utilizes a USB port labeled "POWER IN" for power and charging. It is recommended to use a 5V 2A power adapter. The charging indicator light provides status updates: a red light signifies that the battery is charging, a green light indicates the battery is fully charged, and the light is off when the device is not charging.
Button Operation
- Play: Pressing the Play button initiates playback. The left spindle will rotate, and if a cassette is inserted, audio will play.
- Fast Forward: Pressing the Fast Forward button causes the left spindle to rotate rapidly, moving the tape forward at high speed without audio output.
- Fast Rewind: Pressing the Fast Rewind button causes the right spindle to rotate rapidly, rewinding the tape at high speed without audio output.
- Stop: Pressing the Stop button halts any active operation (playback, fast forward, or fast rewind). The button is spring-loaded and will return to its original position when released.
- Volume Knob: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to increase the volume level and anticlockwise to decrease it.
