• Clear Temporary Space: Make room to store your current cabinet contents until installation.
• Notify Your Installer: If you're using an installer, let them know the delivery date.
• Wait to Remove Old Cabinets: Keep your current cabinets in place until you're ready for installation.

When Your Cabinets Arrive

• Be Home: Make sure an adult is present during the delivery time.
• Get the Bill of Lading: Ask the delivery driver for your copy and check off each carton as it's unloaded.
• Inspect the Cartons: Look for any damage. If a carton looks damaged, refuse delivery of that item.
• Stage for Easy Install: Stack wall cabinet boxes on top of base cabinet boxes to prepare for installation.
• Note Issues: If anything is missing or damaged, write it on your Bill of Lading for reference.

• Keep Cabinets in Cartons: Leave your cabinets in the boxes to avoid damage before installation.

On Installation Day

• Handle Carefully: Open cartons with care, and avoid tipping the cabinets when moving them.
• Document Any Damage: If you notice hidden damage, note it on the Bill of Lading and take pictures if possible.

• Remove Components First: Take off doors, drawers, trays, and shelves before moving the cabinets to avoid damage.
• Stage Components Carefully: Use scrap carton material to separate and protect components during installation.
