Installation Overview
The installation process involves several key stages:
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Securely attach the mounting bracket (D) to the ceiling electrical box using appropriate screws (E, F). Ensure the box is rated for fan support.
- Safety Hook Installation: Attach the safety hook (G) to the mounting bracket (D) and the fan's hanging loop using screw (F).
- Wiring Connection: Connect the fan's wires (White, Black, Ground) to the house wiring using wire connectors (A). Follow all electrical codes.
- Fan Blade Assembly: Attach the fan blades (N) to the motor assembly using screws (M). Secure any blade covers (O, P).
- Diffuser Frame Installation: Assemble and attach the diffuser frames (Q, R, S) to the fan motor housing using various screws and connection pieces (A, B, C, D, J, L).
- Arm Installation: Attach the fan arms (K) to the motor assembly using screws (I, J).
- Fixture Installation: Mount the main light fixture (H) onto the assembled fan motor housing.
- Final Installation: Secure the canopy and complete any final connections.

Important Safety Information & Warnings
WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. Turn off power at the breaker panel before installation or maintenance.
CAUTION: Mount the lowest part of the fan at least 2.1 m / 82.6 inches above the floor or grade level.
The mounting bracket must be securely tightened before operating the fan.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, only mount the fan to an outlet box marked "suitable for fan support" and use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes commonly used for hanging light fixtures are not rated for fan support and may need to be replaced. If unsure, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT USE THIS FAN WITH ANY SOLID-STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE.
The mounting bracket is not designed to exceed 15.9 kg / 35 lbs of total weight.
All wiring must adhere to the national Electric Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and local codes.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets when installing, balancing, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign objects between the rotating fan blades.
WARNING: If unusual oscillating movement is observed, immediately stop using the ceiling fan and contact the manufacturer, its service agent, or suitably qualified persons.
WARNING: Keep batteries out of reach of children. Swallowing a battery can cause severe internal burns and lead to death within 2 hours. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted into any part of the body.
Dispose of used batteries immediately and safely. Even used batteries can be dangerous.

Remote Control Functions
Remote Control Pairing/Unpairing Instructions:
- Turn the fixture power off for at least 10 seconds.
- Turn the fan on. Press the FAN ON/OFF button (no. 4) and the LIGHT ON/OFF button (no. 2) simultaneously within 10 seconds of turning on the fan. You will hear one beep when pairing is complete and two beeps when unpairing is complete.
- If pairing/unpairing is not successful, repeat the steps above.
- Use one or two remotes to control one or two fans.
Remote Control Buttons:
- 1. Light Indicator: Indicates light status.
- 2. Light ON/OFF: Controls the fan's light.
- 3. Fan Speed: Adjusts the fan speed.
- 4. FAN ON/OFF: Turns the fan on or off.
- 5. Forward/Reverse: Changes the fan's rotation direction.
- 6. Selectable Light Colours: Cycles through available light color options.
- 7. Timer: Sets a timer for the fan operation.
- 8. Brightness: Adjusts the light brightness.
- Mute/Unmute Beeper: Press and hold both buttons until you hear a beep. One beep indicates the beeper is muted; two beeps indicate the beeper is activated.
Battery Safety and Disposal
INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery. DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested. A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN.
Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
Battery Disposal:
- Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.
- Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
- Call a local poison control centre for treatment information.
- Always use the correct size and grade of battery (CR2032, 3V) as specified for the product.
- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
- Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 40°C, or incinerate batteries.
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different brands/types of batteries.
- Remove batteries from equipment not used for extended periods.
- Batteries must be installed, removed, and replaced by an adult or under adult supervision.

Warranty
Artika For Living Inc. offers a five-year (5) limited warranty on manufacturing defects for residential use from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and valid for the original owner in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Iceland, France, and Spain. It does not apply to retailers or commercial applications. The original sales receipt is required for all warranty claims. The remedy is product or part replacement at Artika's discretion, not exceeding the original purchase price.
The warranty is valid only for products installed according to building codes, local laws, and the provided instruction manual. It does not cover incorrect installation, abnormal use, normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, vandalism, improper maintenance, accidents, abuse, fire, flood, theft, acts of God, neglect, or alterations. Accessories like bulbs or batteries are excluded. Handling, labor, and transportation costs are not covered.
