Overview

The 9442/32 CPU module serves as a gateway between the IS1+ Remote I/O system and the automation system. It supports various communication protocols that can be configured by the user. The module facilitates the transmission of process values, diagnostics, parameterization, and configuration data. Communication with I/O modules is achieved using the 9496 socket and the 9494 BusRail. Integration into control systems and plant asset management tools is enabled through standards like GSD, EDS, web servers, and FDT/DTM.
