Select TV Bolts:
Only one bolt size fits your TV. Diagrams show M4, M6, and M8 bolt types.
Bolt length: Verify adequate thread engagement with bolts or bolts/spacers combination. Recommend thread engagement by at least 5 turns.
- Too short will not hold the TV.
- Too long will damage the TV.
Diagrams illustrate "Too Short", "Too Long", and "Correct" bolt lengths.
Please Note: The provided TV bolts meet most of today's TVs. However, some TVs require special bolts. Perlesmith offers the "PSUHP" Universal Hardware Kit for older or unique applications.
Please Note: When using spacers, they can be used in multi-layers (stacked). If you have difficulty installing TV bolts or spacers, contact customer service at supportus@perlesmith.com.
CAUTION: Ensure the faceplate [01A] or faceplate [01A] with extender brackets [02] and [03] is EQUALLY CENTERED on your TV and securely fastened in place.
PLEASE NOTE: The bolt hole locations on your TV may vary. The diagrams illustrate possible locations.
The manual then details three options for attaching the mount to the TV:
- Option A (For Flat Back TV): Shows the faceplate [01A] with bolts [06] and optional spacers [05] and [04].
- Option B (For Round Back TV): Shows the faceplate [01A] with extender brackets [02], [03], bolts [06], and optional spacers [05] and [04].
- Option C (For TV with A "Bump"): Similar to Option B, showing attachment with extender brackets, bolts, and spacers.
- Option D: For cable interference or inset holes, use spacers [05] to create extra space between the TV and the faceplate.
