Before Getting Started: Compatibility Check
Ensure your TV and wall are compatible with this mount.
1. VESA Pattern Compatibility
Verify your TV's VESA mounting pattern against the compatible patterns listed below. The VESA pattern is the distance between the mounting holes on the back of your TV.
Compatible VESA Pattern: | ||
---|---|---|
100 x 100mm | 200 x 200mm | 300 x 200mm |
100 x 200mm | 200 x 300mm | 300 x 300mm |
200 x 100mm | 200 x 400mm | 300 x 400mm |
400 x 200mm | 400 x 300mm | 400 x 400mm |
Maximum/Minimum: 400 x 400mm (15.7" x 15.7") / 100 x 100mm (3.9" x 3.9")
Diagram Description: An illustration shows a TV bracket with dimensions indicating maximum VESA compatibility of 15.7 inches (400mm) horizontally and vertically.
If this mount is not compatible, please contact PERLESMITH product support.
2. Maximum Load Capacity
99 lbs (45kg)
Diagram Description: An icon representing a weight scale showing 99 lbs (45kg).
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity. Exceeding the maximum load can cause the mount to fail, leading to personal injury and/or property damage. If your TV weighs more, this mount is NOT compatible.
3. Wall Type Verification
This mount is designed for installation on Wood Walls (with Drywall) or Solid Concrete.
Diagram Description: Two panels show wall types. The first panel depicts 'Wood Walls (with Drywall)' with a 'Perfect' rating. The second panel depicts 'Solid Concrete' with a 'Perfect' rating. A third panel shows a question mark with text 'Unsure? Contact us via Amazon.'
WARNING: Do not install on drywall alone.

Installation Instructions
Step 1: Attach TV Brackets to Your TV
1-1 Select TV Bolts
The correct bolt diameter will thread smoothly into your TV. Save the bolts that fit (M4, M6, or M8) for Step 1-3.
Diagram Description: Illustrations showing M4, M6, and M8 bolts. A detail shows a bolt threading into a TV's VESA hole, indicating smooth threading. Another detail shows a warning about hole depth potentially differing between top and bottom holes.
1-2 Position the TV Brackets
Align the TV brackets [01] with the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Ensure the round holes on the brackets face upwards.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows two TV brackets being positioned on the back of a TV. A close-up highlights the orientation of the brackets, with arrows indicating 'Round Holes Up'. Multiple examples of bracket placement relative to TV holes are shown.
1-3 Secure the TV Brackets
For Flat-Back TV: Go to Option A (Page 8-9).
For Bump, Curved TV, Recessed Holes and Cables: Go to Option B (Page 10-11).
Option A: Flat-Back TV
Use short TV bolts [C1, D1] with washers [B1, B2].
Diagram Description: An illustration shows attaching TV brackets to a flat-back TV using short bolts and washers.
WARNING: Do not turn the bolt past the bottom of the hole. If the bolt is too short, it may not adequately support the TV. If the bolt is too long, it could damage the TV. At least 4-5 turns into the threading is required. The depth of the bottom holes may be different from the top holes. DO NOT overtighten.
Option B: TV with Mounting Restrictions (Bump, Curved TV, Recessed Holes, Protruding Cables)
Use long TV bolts [C2, D2, E1, E2] with washers [B1, B2] and spacers [F1, F2, F3] to create extra space between the TV and brackets.
Diagram Description: Illustrations show different TV back profiles (Bump, Curved TV) and mounting scenarios (Recessed Holes, Protruding Cables). Instructions guide the user to use a tape measure to select the correct spacer combination.
Note: There are many possible spacer combinations that can be used.
Step 2: Mount the Arm Assembly / Wall Plate on the Wall
Option A: For Wood Walls Installation
Diagram Description: An illustration shows a wall plate being mounted to a wood wall.
WARNING: Avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage! Tighten the lag screws [A1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate (DO NOT overtighten). Do not use a drill; only use a socket wrench. Do not use wall anchors [A2] for this mounting option.
- Mark 4 hole positions on the wall.
- Drill 4 holes using the specified drill bit (e.g., 7/32" or 5.5mm). Diagram Description: An illustration shows drilling holes into a wall. A detail shows the required drill bit size (7/32" or 5.5mm) and the depth (2 3/4" or 70mm).
- Secure the Wall Plate [04] using lag screws [A1] and the 1/2" (13mm) socket wrench. Diagram Description: An illustration shows the wall plate being attached to the wall with lag screws. A close-up shows the lag screw insertion and tightening.
Go to Step 3 on Page 20.
Option B: For Solid Concrete Installation
Diagram Description: An illustration shows a wall plate being mounted to a concrete wall. The minimum concrete thickness is indicated as 8" (203mm).
WARNING: Avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage! Tighten the lag screws [A1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate (DO NOT overtighten). Do not use a drill; only use a socket wrench. Use wall anchors [A2] for this mounting option. Mount the arm assembly / wall plate directly on the concrete surface.
- Mark 4 hole positions on the wall.
- Drill 4 holes using the specified drill bit (e.g., 3/8" or 10mm). Diagram Description: An illustration shows drilling holes into a concrete wall. A detail shows the required drill bit size (3/8" or 10mm) and depth (3" or 75mm).
- Tap Wall Anchors [A2] into the drilled holes. Diagram Description: An illustration shows wall anchors being inserted into the drilled holes.
- Secure the Wall Plate [04] using lag screws [A1] and the 1/2" (13mm) socket wrench. Diagram Description: An illustration shows the wall plate being attached to the wall with lag screws and anchors. A close-up shows the lag screw insertion and tightening.
Go to Step 3 on Page 20.
Step 3: Verify Wall Plate is Firmly Mounted
Pull down on the mounted wall plate to ensure it is secure and stable.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows a hand pulling down on the mounted arm assembly. Two scenarios are depicted: one with a checkmark indicating a secure mount, and another with a cross indicating an insecure mount.
Step 4: Hang the TV on the Arm Assembly
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the process of hanging the TV onto the mounted wall plate.
4-1: Slightly loosen the preassembled bolts [S] on the TV brackets.
4-2: Align the TV brackets with the arm assembly slots.
4-3: Tighten the bolts [S] until they are snug against the TV plate.
Diagram Description: A detailed view shows the TV brackets [01] on the TV being hooked onto the arm assembly [04]. Another detail shows tightening the bolts [S] with a tool.
Step 5: Tilt Adjustment
Tilt the TV to the desired angle. You may need to slightly loosen the tilting nuts [T] to adjust the angle, then retighten them to hold the TV in position.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the TV tilting forward and backward. A close-up shows the tilting nuts [T] and the 3/8" (10mm) bolt size.
Note: Please DO NOT overtighten or overloosen the nuts [T].
Step 6: Level Adjustment
Level the TV using the included level [03]. You may need to slightly loosen the 4 leveling nuts [L] to adjust the level, then retighten them to hold the TV in position.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the TV being leveled using a bubble level. A close-up shows the leveling nuts [L] and the 3/8" (10mm) bolt size.
Note: Please DO NOT overtighten or overloosen the nuts [L].
