Getting Started
WARNING: Always ensure that the plug is disconnected from the power source and the tool is switched off before making any adjustments or maintenance procedures. Install the appropriate filter before placing the motor assembly back on the tank. For more information on installing your foam sleeve, refer to Operation.
Remove the vacuum cleaner and all accessories from the packaging. Open the locking clamps with your thumbs and remove the motor assembly from the tank. Then, remove the accessories from the tank. With the electric cord disconnected, place the tank upside down so the base is facing upwards. Assemble the feet and castors according to the following instructions.
Castor System Assembly
Diagram illustrating the castor system assembly. It shows marking points on the bottom of the tank, an arrow indicating alignment, and the castor foot being attached.
- Looking at the bottom of the tank with the vacuum port at the 12 o'clock position, use a pencil or felt tip pen to mark lines marked with an ‘A’ at approximately the 1:30 and 7:30 positions, and a 'B' at the 4:30 and 10:30 positions.
- If the castor feet are bound together, remove the straps and separate them.
- Align the castor foot marked A with the arrow on the foot.
- Align the arrow on the template with the mark also labeled A.
- Place the groove on the foot on the edge of the tank and press until the castor foot is tight against the base of the tank.
- Secure the foot using the provided screws and washers.
- Repeat for feet marked B.
- Place the motor assembly back on the tank.
Side Tank Handle Assembly

Operation
Insert the power cord plug into a wall socket. You are now ready to use your vacuum cleaner.
WARNING: If the vacuum cleaner accidentally tips over, the shut-off float mechanism may cover the joint and stop the suction. If this happens, stand the vacuum upright and turn it off until the float returns to its normal position.
Vacuuming Dry Materials
For proper filtering when vacuuming dust and dry material, the foam sleeve must be removed, and the cartridge filter installed. The foam sleeve is only for vacuuming liquids.
NOTE: NEVER USE A VACUUM WITHOUT THE FILTER!
Installation and Cleaning
Foam Sleeve – For use during wet applications
WARNING: Always ensure the plug is disconnected from the power source and the tool is switched off before making adjustments or maintenance. Once the motor assembly is upside down, slide the foam sleeve down over the cage until it completely covers it.
The foam sleeve should be cleaned regularly:
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before removing the motor assembly. Turn the motor assembly over. Slide the foam sleeve toward the top of the cage to remove.
- Shake the foam sleeve up and down quickly.
- Submerge the foam sleeve in water for one or two minutes, then rinse it from the inside out. Systematic cleaning with water is not always necessary; it depends on the sleeve's condition.
- Gently wring out the water, wipe with a clean cloth, and let it dry. The foam sleeve is now ready to be reinstalled.
Cartridge Filter – For dry applications
Use the cartridge filter over the lid cage for most general dry material pick-up.
- With the tank cover upside down, slide the cartridge filter down over the lid cage, pushing until it seals against the cover.
- Place the filter retainer into the top of the cartridge filter. Hold the tank cover with one hand and turn the handle on the filter retainer clockwise to tighten, locking the filter in place.
- To remove the filter for cleaning, hold the tank cover and turn the filter retainer counter-clockwise to loosen and remove. Slide the cartridge filter off the lid cage.
- To clean the cartridge filter, shake or brush off excess dirt, or rinse (from the inside) with water. Dry completely (approximately 24 hours) and reinstall. NOTE: If the filter has been used for wet pick-up, it must be cleaned and dried before using for dry pick-up.
Dust Collection Bag
Fine dust, such as cement, soot, and plaster, is too fine for the foam sleeve alone and risks entering the motor, causing damage and nullifying the warranty. Always use a dust collection bag when cleaning these types of materials.
- Unplug the vacuum from the electrical outlet and remove the motor assembly from the tank.
- Hold the cardboard collar tightly and slide the rubber protective element as far as possible onto the intake port.
- When in place, unfold the bag and position it around the inside walls of the tank.
Vacuuming Up Water and Liquids
- Remove all dirt and debris from the tank. A foam sleeve must be used to vacuum wet debris.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before removing the motor assembly from the tank. Turn the motor over.
- Remove the dust collection bag and install the foam sleeve as described in the Operation Section.
Start Vacuuming
The vacuum cleaner has an automatic shut-off system for liquid pick-up. When the liquid reaches a certain level in the tank, an internal float closes a joint, cutting off motor intake and suction.
- Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power source.
- Raise the hose to drain into the tank.
- Remove the motor assembly from the tank.
- Be careful when emptying heavy tanks. Drain the tank into an appropriate drain. Place the motor assembly back on the tank and engage the locking clamps.
Blower Feature
This vacuum can be used as a powerful blower. To use it as a blower, insert the hose end into the blower port on the rear of the unit. Clear the hose of any obstructions before attaching it to the blower port. Caution should be used when using it as a blower due to the powerful force of air, especially with certain attachments.
WARNING: ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION TO PREVENT DEBRIS FROM BEING BLOWN OR RICOCHETING INTO THE EYES OR FACE, WHICH CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
Maintenance and Repair
The vacuum cleaner requires no lubrication or supplementary maintenance. Before storing, always empty and clean the tank. Never leave liquids standing in the tank for extended periods. Clean the foam sleeve to avoid clogging from debris. Never use water or chemical cleaning products with detergent to clean the vacuum cleaner; use a dry cloth. If the supply cord needs replacing, this task must be carried out by the manufacturer, its agent, or an authorized service center to avoid a safety hazard.
