Getting Started

Features

Remote Control Battery Installation

1. Unscrew and remove the battery cover from the back of the controller. 2. Install 4 fresh "AAA" alkaline batteries into the controller as shown (see diagram A). Replace the battery cover. 3. Turn over the controller and push the power button up. If the power indicator turns on, batteries are properly installed.

Diagram A Description: Shows 4x1.5 volt "AAA" Alkaline Batteries being inserted into the controller.

Charging the SNAP 2.0™ Li-Poly Battery

1. Insert the battery into the charger as shown (see diagram B). 2. Connect the USB end of the cable to your computer's USB port or a USB wall charger (see diagram C). The red LED indicator on the battery will light off while charging and light on when fully charged. Average charging time is approximately 110-120 minutes (via 5.0V-2A USB wall charger). A fully charged battery provides 5-7 minutes of flight time.

Diagram B Description: Shows the Li-Poly battery being placed into the charger.

Diagram C Description: Shows the USB charging cable connected to a computer USB port and the battery.

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS REMEMBER TO UNPLUG YOUR CHARGING CORD WHEN NOT IN USE!

Install the Aircraft Battery

Put the battery into the battery compartment then lock the two ends with the battery locks (see diagram D).

Diagram D Description: Shows the battery being inserted into the drone's battery compartment and secured with battery locks.

How to Expand and Fold Your SNAP 2.0™

Before flying, expand the foldable arms outwards. Turn the drone over, bottom side facing you, and carefully pull and expand the 4 arms until fully extended (see diagram D). After flying, it is recommended to fold all 4 arms back in. Be gentle when expanding or folding.

Drone and Controller Overview

SNAP 2.0™ Diagram

The SNAP 2.0™ drone features four rotors: Propeller A (two on the front) and Propeller B (two on the rear). Key components include the Camera, Power Button, and an Emergency Stop button.

Controller Diagram

The controller includes: Throttle/Yaw control (left stick), Direction Control (right stick), Speed Setting Button, 360° Stunt Rolls Button, Emergency Stop button, ON/OFF & Power Indicator, Auto Start/Land button, and various Trim controls (Turning Left/Right Trim, Moving Forward/Backward Trim, Banking Left/Right Trim).

Diagram D1 Description: Shows the left throttle stick being moved up and down to sync the drone, with LED indicators changing from flashing to solid.

Flight Preparation and Syncing

Flight Preparation

Syncing Your SNAP 2.0™

Ensure the drone is on a flat level surface and digital trim settings are centered. No other 2.4G devices should be active nearby.

1. Turn off the controller and remove the battery from the drone.

2. Insert the drone battery, place it on a flat surface, and press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the red and white LED lights flash rapidly (see diagram D1).

3. Quickly turn ON the remote. The top red LED light on the controller should flash, and the drone's lights will flash slower.

4. Push the throttle stick all the way up, then pull it all the way down. You should hear a high-pitched beep in both directions. The drone and controller lights will stop flashing and become solid, indicating successful sync.

Tips:

Basic Flight Operations

Recognizing Front & Rear

The front of the SNAP 2.0™ is indicated by two white/red lights. The rear is indicated by one red light.

Starting/Stopping Rotors

Manual Start/Stop: To start, move both control sticks down and outward simultaneously until rotors spin, then release. Push the throttle stick up to take off. To stop, wait ~10 seconds for automatic stop, or move both sticks down and outward again. To land after takeoff, pull the throttle all the way down.

Auto Start/Land: Press the AUTO START / LAND button on the controller for automatic takeoff or landing. Direction can still be controlled during auto operations to avoid obstacles.

Speed Select Button

The drone has 3 speed settings: 1 (SLOW), 2 (MEDIUM), and 3 (HIGH). The default is SLOW. Press the speed setting button to cycle through speeds. Beeping sounds indicate speed changes, and the controller display may show the current speed.

Flight Control

Use the left throttle stick to control ascent/descent (⬆️/⬇️) and rotation (⬅️/➡️). Use the right direction stick to control forward/backward movement (⬆️/⬇️) and banking left/right (⬅️/➡️).

Flight Practice

Practice basic maneuvers like vertical takeoffs, landings, and turns. Progress to square and cross pattern maneuvers for advanced control.

Advanced Features & App Integration

Adjusting the Trim

Trim controls help correct drifting. If the drone drifts forward, press the FORWARD/BACKWARD TRIM button downward repeatedly. If it drifts backward, press upward. For left/right drift, use the BANKS TRIM button. For spinning, use the LEFT/RIGHT TURN TRIM button. A single long beep indicates the trim is centered. No sound means it's at maximum trim.

Calibrating the SNAP 2.0™

If the drone drifts significantly, recalibrate it: 1. Place the drone on a flat level surface. 2. Ensure the drone and controller are synced and powered on (do not start blades). 3. Move both throttle and control sticks down and to the right corner simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds (see diagram R). The drone's lights will flash and then stop, indicating calibration is complete.

Diagram R Description: Shows controller sticks moved to the bottom-right corner for calibration.

How to Perform 360° Stunt Rolls

1. Hover the drone at least 5 feet from obstacles. Set speed to mode 2 or 3. 2. Press the 360 stunt button (indicated by rapid beeping). 3. Quickly push the right control stick in the desired direction (left or right) to perform a flip.

Diagram S Description: Shows the 360° Stunt Roll Button.

Diagram T Description: Shows controller stick movements for left and right rolls.

Note: Pressing the stunt button again without moving the stick will exit stunt mode.

Emergency Stop

Simultaneously press the "speed setting button" and "stunt button" to stop the drone blades immediately if control is lost.
