How to Choose a Serenity Choice Product

Step 1: Consider the Application

• Universal: Serenity Choice universal hearing protectors are excellent introductory products for occasional use, available in 8 models.
• Custom-Fit (In-Ear): Serenity Choice custom-fit hearing protectors are ideal for those with more continuous hearing protection needs, where fit and comfort are crucial. Serenity Choice Plus offers various filter options with different levels of protection.

Step 3: Select Protection Level (Applicable to Serenity Choice Plus custom-fit devices)

Consider these factors:

• Degree of noise exposure
• Need for communication
• Duration of exposure

Example: A sound technician exposed to loud music for 3-4 hours daily. For safety, the maximum sound level for 4 hours of exposure is 88 dBA. To be in this environment for 4 hours requires 12 dB of protection. A KM15 filter would suffice, but longer exposure would require more protection.

Motorsport: Serenity Choice Motorsport earplugs are specially designed for motorcyclists, reducing motor, wind, and helmet noise to safe levels. At speeds of 100 km/h, helmet noise can reach 95–105 dB, posing a risk to hearing in as little as 15 minutes. The filters reduce harmful noise while allowing clear speech through intercoms.
