4. Getting Started

Charging the Headset:

2. Charging Status Indicator: The status indicator LED shows battery level and charging status.

5. How to Use the Razer BlackShark V3 X HS For Playstation

Connecting to Devices:

Wired Mode:

2.4 GHz Wireless Mode:

1. Plug the USB Type-C HyperSpeed Wireless Dongle into your device.

• Ensure the Razer BlackShark V3 X HS For Playstation is set as the default input and output device in your PC's sound settings.

Personalizing Your PC Experience:

Enabling 7.1 Surround Sound*:

Experience accurate positional audio designed for games, movies, and music.

1. Download the 7.1 Surround Sound software from razer.com/7.1-surround-sound.
2. Register your product at razerid.razer.com/products to receive an activation code via email.

*Available for Windows 10 64-bit or later only.

BLUETOOTH® Mode:

Re-enabling Bluetooth Pairing Mode:

Mobile Setup:

Download the Razer Audio app to customize EQ settings, auto-off features, gaming mode, and more, anytime and anywhere.

1. Download the mobile app to your mobile device.
2. Run the installed app and follow the on-screen instructions.

Pairing for Both Wireless Modes:

The headset can be paired with devices using either the 2.4GHz dongle or Bluetooth.

Switching Wireless Modes:

6. Razer Headset Settings

Razer Synapse Software:

This guide provides an overview of Razer Synapse. New Razer Synapse requires an internet connection for cloud-based features. Razer ID registration is optional. Features may vary based on version, connected devices, and add-ons.

Synapse User Interface:

• Minimize: Minimizes the app to the taskbar while it runs in the background.
• Maximize: Expands the window to full screen. Click again to return to original size.
• Close: Closes all tabs and exits the application.
• Previous Tab: Returns to the last accessed tab.
• Next Tab: Moves to the next page.
• Refresh Tab: Reloads the current page.
• Download Updates: Indicates app updates are available.
• Other: Opens a popup for easy access to [Devices], [Modules], and [Other Installed Apps] tabs.
• Settings: Opens the [Settings] tab for quick configuration changes.
• Profile: Opens a popup for [Login], [Feedback], [Rate this software], [Add Wi-Fi device], and [Exit] options.
• Information: Hovering over this displays additional information about features.

Dashboard:

The [Dashboard] tab provides an overview of Razer Synapse, allowing access to all your Razer devices, modules, and online services.

Gamer Room:

The [Gamer Room] tab displays devices with Razer Aether Light functionality. Manage and configure supported devices here. This section allows customization of lighting effects and integration with Chroma-compatible games or the Chroma Connect app.

Devices & Modules:

The [Modules] tab lists all installed and available modules for Razer Synapse.

Global Shortcuts:

Assign custom key combinations or Razer Synapse functions to inputs from compatible devices. These shortcuts work across all device profiles.

[Product Name] Tab:

The main tab for the Razer BlackShark V3 X Hyperspeed For Playstation allows customization of lighting (if supported), EQ profiles, system volume, and per-application volume. Changes are saved locally and to the cloud.

• Profile Dropdown: Access and switch between all profiles for the device.
• More: Opens a popup with options related to the current profile.

Sound Tab:

Adjust and modify audio settings for the device.

• Audio Equalizer: Select presets or customize EQ settings for immersive audio experiences. Settings automatically change to [Custom] if manually adjusted.
• Volume: Adjust device volume. Use the Windows [Volume Mixer] for system-wide or per-application volume control.
• 7.1 Surround Sound: Enables advanced positional audio. Download the software and register your product for an activation code. (Requires THX Spatial Audio compatible devices).
• Silent Mode: Blocks Bluetooth calls on the headset. Turn 'Do Not Disturb' on to block calls, or off to receive them while using the 2.4GHz dongle.
• Sound Properties: Opens Windows Sound Properties to manage playback/recording devices, sound settings, and communication activities.

Microphone Tab:

• Microphone: Adjust microphone volume, mute/unmute using the toggle. Use [Mic Test] to check input levels.
• Microphone Monitoring (Sidetone): Hear your microphone audio directly through the headset and adjust monitoring volume as needed.
• Microphone Enhancement: Improve microphone input quality with features like noise cancellation to reduce ambient noise.

Power Tab:

Manage power consumption for wireless devices. Configure wireless power-saving settings to automatically turn off the device after a period of inactivity.

Linked Games Tab:

Add, display, and search for applications and peripherals linked to Razer devices. Apps can be linked to specific device profiles, automatically activating them when the app launches.

Devices Tab:

View peripherals and their linked applications. Add, remove, or manage app links for each device. Filter and search for apps.

Settings Tab:

• Synapse: Configure app-specific options.
• Auto-start: Set Razer Synapse to launch automatically with system startup.
• Recommendations: Display recommended products and features based on installed devices and linked games.
• Device Lighting: Select apps to control device lighting effects (e.g., Chroma RGB).
• Notifications: Enable on-screen notifications even when running full-screen apps.
• Profile Migration: Transfer profiles, macros, and Chroma effects from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4.

7. Usage Precautions and Maintenance

Safety Guidelines:

• For maximum safety, follow these guidelines when using the Razer BlackShark V3 X HS For Playstation.
• If issues arise, disconnect the product, contact Razer support at support.razer.com.
• Do not disassemble the product; this voids the warranty. Avoid operating with abnormal current loads.
• Keep the product away from liquids, moisture, or water. Operate within the specified temperature range (0°C~40°C). If the temperature exceeds this range, unplug the device and wait for it to stabilize.
• Lightly stretch the headband before wearing to minimize stress, but do not overstretch beyond technical specifications to avoid permanent damage.
• Be aware that the headset may block ambient sounds, potentially reducing awareness of your surroundings. Remove the headset when attention to your environment is required.
• Prolonged exposure to high volumes can cause hearing damage. Legal regulations in some countries limit sound pressure to 86 dB for 8 hours daily. Enjoy music at a comfortable level to protect your hearing.
