This product is developed based on stock vehicles and vehicles equipped with HKS products. HKS cannot guarantee the functionality, performance, or safety of this product when installed on other vehicle types.

- When disconnecting connectors, hold the connector body to avoid wire breakage, which can cause short circuits, fire, or damage to electrical components.
- If you notice any unusual sounds or smells from the product during use, stop using it immediately and contact your dealer. Continued use may lead to electric shock or fire.
- Perform installation work in a location where the vehicle can be parked securely.

- Do not modify, disassemble, or attempt unauthorized repairs on this product, as it may cause electric shock or damage to the vehicle.
- Avoid installing the product in areas with high temperatures, potential water exposure, high humidity, or dust, as this may lead to malfunction and vehicle damage.
- Ensure all wiring is done correctly, without any disconnections, short circuits, or incorrect connections, to prevent electric shock or vehicle damage.
- Do not attempt any repairs yourself; always consult a professional.
- If you notice any unusual sounds, smells, or vibrations while driving, refer to the user manual for appropriate actions.
- Before using this product, confirm that the vehicle's ECU is the genuine manufacturer's product and that the ECU data is in its normal state.
- When connecting or disconnecting connectors, always hold the connector body to prevent pulling on the cables, which could cause them to break.
- Before handing over the vehicle for repairs or inspection, remove the Power Editor R and its harness.
- Daily inspections are the driver's responsibility. Please perform them regularly.

Harness Specifications and Map Data Settings
Refer to the diagrams and tables provided in the manual for specific pin assignments and map data channel configurations for the Power Editor R unit and the HR-2 harness.
Installation Procedure
- Turn off the vehicle's engine and wait at least 10 minutes before disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Adjust waiting time as needed based on vehicle conditions.
- Install the Power Editor R unit in a location away from high temperatures and direct water exposure. Secure it firmly using the provided double-sided tape and/or zip ties.
- Connect the HR-2 harness to each sensor. Refer to the labels on the sensors and the diagrams to splice the harness into the sensor and factory wiring. Ensure connectors are securely locked.
- If using the speed correction feature, cut the speed signal wire on the ECU harness, attach the female crimp terminal to the ECU side and the male crimp terminal to the vehicle side, and connect the speed signal harness. Insert the other end of the speed signal harness into Pin 18 of the Power Editor R unit's main connector. If not using the speed signal harness, install a waterproof plug into Pin 18.
- Push the retainer back into its original position and connect the HR-2 harness to the Power Editor R unit.
- Secure the harness with the provided zip ties to prevent movement due to vibration.
- After confirming all connections are correct, reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Data Writing to Power Editor R Unit
- Remove the waterproof connector from the unit and attach the supplied USB harness to connect to a PC.
- Write the map data created using the "Easy Writer for Power Editor R" software. Download the latest version from the HKS website.
- After setting is complete and the USB harness is removed, connect the waterproof connector or the map switching harness.
Troubleshooting and Support
In case of any abnormal sounds or smells during operation, immediately stop using the product and contact your dealer. For repairs, always consult a professional. If you experience unusual sounds, smells, or vibrations while driving, follow the instructions in the user manual.
