Charging Your Watchic Plus
Before using the Watchic Plus, ensure it is fully charged. The device has a built-in USB charging connector. To charge, remove the strap at a 45-degree angle to expose the USB connector. Connect the USB connector to a USB cable or power source. Ensure the connector is inserted correctly; charging animation will only appear when inserted in the correct orientation. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Note: If the charging icon does not appear, check that the connector is inserted correctly.
Pair Pocket Auto Watchic with Your Phone
To connect the Watchic Plus to your smartphone for use with Pokémon Go:
- Turn on your mobile device's Bluetooth.
- Launch the Pokémon Go application. Tap the Main Menu button (usually a Poké Ball icon).
- Tap 'Settings' at the top right of the screen.
- Select 'Pokémon Go Plus' from the settings page.
- Press the button on the Watchic Plus to make it appear in the device list. Select 'Pokémon Go Plus' from the available devices.
- Wait for pairing to complete. The 'Pokémon Go Plus' icon turning green indicates successful pairing.
Note: The Watchic Plus may fail to pair if it's already connected to other devices, has no power, or is not functioning correctly.
Ensure Latest Firmware and Use Pocket Center
Download the 'Pocket Center' application to customize settings and enhance your Watchic Plus experience. Scan the QR code provided in the original document or search for 'Pocket Center' directly in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To connect Watchic Plus to Pocket Center, press the button on the device to wake it up. It will automatically connect to the opened Pocket Center app and download updates.
Time Calibration: When connected to Pocket Center, the date and time on your Watchic Plus will be automatically updated.
How to Change Display Style
- From the main screen, long-press the button to enter the 'Change Display Style' mode.
- Briefly press the button to cycle through different display styles.
- Long-press the button again to confirm your selection and return to the main screen.
The display can show information such as Power display, Connection status, Date & Time, Out of Pokéballs, Bag full, and Pokémon full.
Having Difficulties with Pairing?
If you encounter issues pairing your Watchic Plus:
- On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and remove/clear the 'Pokémon Go Plus' device.
- In the Pokémon Go game settings, exit or clear the 'Pokémon Go Plus' connection.
- Tap the button on your Watchic Plus. When a new 'Pokémon Go Plus' appears in the game's settings, select it for re-pairing.
Important: The Watchic Plus will automatically time out every hour, requiring you to re-connect it.
How to Change the Mode
- Tap the button to switch between different modes.
- Long-press the button for 3 seconds to turn a mode ON or OFF.
Available modes and statuses include:
- Auto-catch new Pokémon: ON/OFF
- Disconnect Vibration: ON/OFF
- Power Saving Mode: ON/OFF
- Vibration alerts: ON/OFF
- Auto-collect Pokéstop: ON/OFF
Visual indicators and statuses described:
- Pokéstop items collected (x1, x2, x3, x4, 5+)
- New Pokémon discovered
- Duplicate Pokémon found
- Pokéstop not in range
- Pokéstop in range
- Out of Pokéballs
- Pokémon is full
- Bag full
- Waiting
- Update Ready
- Pokémon caught
- Pokémon not caught
- Updating
- Update Complete
- Device pairing
- Device pairing not paired
- Charging
- Power off
How to Check Safety Regulation Information?
To view the 'Safety Regulation Information' screen, long-press the button on the Watchic Plus when the 'Brook' logo is displayed. Pressing the button again on this screen will return you to the menu.
