General Safety Precautions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances, including:

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury:
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., adding cold liquids to a hot pot).
  • Inspect the tempered glass lid for damage before and after each use. Do not use if damaged.
  • Use protective oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when handling the hot pot and lid.
  • Do not let the power cord hang where it can be tripped over or pulled.
  • Ensure the product is used on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • To unplug, pull directly from the plug, not the cord.
  • Keep out of reach of children. This appliance is not intended for use by children.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles.
  • Unplug when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before adding/removing parts.
  • Never leave the product unattended while in use.
  • Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water/liquid.
  • Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not place on or near hot gas/electric burners or in a hot oven.
  • Do not operate other high-wattage products on the same circuit.
  • Do not plug/unplug with wet hands.
  • Exercise caution to prevent burns, fire, or other damage due to heat and steam.
  • Be extremely careful when moving an appliance containing hot liquids.
  • If the product falls into water, unplug immediately. Do not touch the water.
  • Use in a well-ventilated area, with at least 4-6 inches of space for air circulation.
  • Do not operate if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the unit malfunctions or has been dropped.
  • This product has no user-serviceable parts. Seek qualified service for inspection and repair.

Special Instructions (Extension Cords)

Use of a longer extension cord is permissible with caution:

  • The extension cord's electrical rating must be at least equal to the appliance's rating.
  • Arrange the extension cord so it does not hang where children could pull it or cause tripping.

How to Use Your Hot Pot

Before First Use

  • Unpack the unit and remove all packaging components.
  • Wash the lid and hot pot with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive surfaces. Do not immerse the bottom of the appliance.
  • CAUTION: Always wear oven mitts or protective gloves to prevent burns.
  • NOTICE: Use only heat-resistant, non-metallic utensils; metal utensils may scratch the cooking surface.
  • NOTE: A slight smoke may be emitted during the first use; this is normal and will disappear with subsequent use.

Using the Appliance

  1. Add ingredients to the hot pot and cover with the lid.
  2. Insert the plug into the unit and the power cord into an outlet. The indicator light will turn on, showing the unit is heating.
  3. Set the hot pot to the desired temperature:
    • LOW: Recommended for slow cooking ingredients.
    • HIGH: Recommended for boiling ingredients.
  4. Do not leave the appliance unattended. This product is not designed for all-day or overnight cooking.
  5. Refer to specific recipes or cooking instructions for required cooking times.
  6. To turn off, turn the temperature knob fully left, then unplug the power cord. Allow to cool before cleaning.

Usage Notes

  • The hot pot has a temperature regulator that controls heat and automatically shuts off power if the temperature gets too high. Power will resume once the temperature decreases sufficiently.
  • White mineral deposits may appear during boiling; this is natural and harmless. They can be removed by soaking in white vinegar and gentle rubbing after cleaning.
  • If you suspect a power interruption during use, the food may be unsafe. If unsure of the duration, it is recommended to discard the food.
  • Always cook with the lid on, using recommended time and temperature. Use oven mitts when handling the hot pot and lid.
  • Unplug after use and before cleaning.

Hot Pot Components

The hot pot includes:

  • Removable Lid: Made of tempered glass, with a safety handle for lifting.
  • Safety Handle: Integrated into the unit for safe handling.
  • Indicator Light: Illuminates when the unit is powered on and heating.
  • Temperature Adjustment Knob: Allows selection between LOW and HIGH heat settings.
  • Power Input Socket: Located on the front of the unit for connecting the power cord.

Cleaning

  • CAUTION: Always turn off the hot pot, unplug it, and let it cool before cleaning.

  • Ceramic bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe. Bamboo chopsticks and the hot pot itself are hand-wash only.
  • Once cooled, remove the lid and unplug the power cord from both the outlet and the hot pot.
  • Use a soapy cloth or sponge to wipe away cooking residue. Do not use abrasive materials or cleaners.
