4. Using the Device
A. Turning on the Device
Press the power button ? or the LED light button to activate the device.
B. Using the Device for Starting
Method 1: Normal Start
- Ensure the vehicle's electrical system is 12V DC.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
- Activate the device by briefly pressing the LED light button ? or the power button. A 10-second countdown will begin to check the clamp connection. If the indicator blinks after the countdown, the vehicle is ready to start.
- Immediately after the vehicle starts, remove the clamps from the battery. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn off the device. If no operation is performed for 6 seconds, the device will automatically turn off.
- If the vehicle does not start, check the clamp connections and try again. Do not attempt to start the vehicle more than 5 times within 15 minutes.
Method 2: Emergency Start
Safety Warning: Exercise extreme caution when using this mode. Ensure the (+) and (-) clamps do not touch each other to prevent electric shock, short circuits, device damage, battery damage, or fire.
- If normal starting is unsuccessful (e.g., battery voltage is too low), you can use the emergency start function after carefully reading the manual.
- Connect the jumper cable clamps to the EC8 connector on the device.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery.
- With the device on, press and hold the BAR/PSI button for 5 seconds to activate emergency start mode. The start indicator will light up, showing the clamps are active.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the car battery, ensuring a secure connection. The display will show the total voltage. You can now attempt to start the vehicle.
- After a successful start, press the BAR/PSI or PUMP button to turn off.
Clamp Connection Status (Connect Max)
During the start mode, a 10-second countdown begins after connecting the clamps to check the battery and connection. If the connection impedance is low, the clamp status indicator will be green. If it's high, it will be yellow.
During the countdown, you can adjust the clamp connection. After 10 seconds, you must end the start mode and reconnect the clamps to measure the impedance again.
When the Lokithor is in forced start mode, the clamp status indicator will always blink yellow to warn of caution during use.
C. Using the Voltmeter
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal, ensuring a correct connection.
- After the 10-second interval, the status indicator on the main panel will light up, showing the current battery voltage.
- After measurement, disconnect the clamps from the battery terminals.
4. Using the Device (Continued)
D. Using the Light
- Press and hold the "LED Light" button ? for approximately 1 second to turn on the LED light.
- Briefly press the "LED Light" button to cycle through modes: steady light, strobe, SOS, and off.
- To turn off the device, press and hold the "LED Light" button for approximately 2 seconds.
E. Charging the Device
The device can be charged using:
- A) AC adapter (charger)
- B) USB-C to USB-C cable
- C) USB-A to USB-C cable
Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the device's charging port and the other end (USB-C or USB-A) to the charger.
The power indicator lighting up means the device is charging correctly.
If the battery indicator is yellow or red, charge the device immediately to prevent deep discharge. Do not leave the device in a discharged state for extended periods.
F. Charging a Mobile Phone via USB-A / USB-C
The device can charge mobile phones using USB-A / USB-C or USB-C / USB-C cables.
G. Using the Compressor
Attach the inflatable hose to the air compressor outlet, tighten the nut, and connect the other end to the tire valve.
Press the power button ? or the LED light button to activate the device.
Briefly press the BAR/PSI button to switch between tire pressure units: BAR, PSI.
Pressure Unit Conversion Table:
Unit | Bar | kPa | PSI | Kgf/cm² |
---|---|---|---|---|
Value | 1 | 100 | 14.5 | 1.02 |
Note: Recommended tire pressure is usually indicated in Bar for vehicles.
To set the target tire pressure, first determine the desired pressure. The recommended (max) tire pressure can be found on the tire sidewall, vehicle sticker, or in the vehicle's manual. Adjust the target tire pressure using the "+"/"-" buttons. The set value will blink for 3 seconds, then the device will switch to real-time pressure monitoring mode.
Safety Warning: If the target pressure is not set and the air pump is turned on, it will not stop automatically. Manual shut-off is required. Failure to monitor tire pressure in real-time may lead to overinflation or tire damage.
Press and hold the "PUMP" button for 3 seconds to start the compressor. The compressor will automatically shut off when the tire pressure reaches the set value. To manually turn off the compressor, press the "PUMP" button or the power button ?.
Safety Warning: The product displays real-time tire pressure. A slight decrease in the displayed pressure after inflation is normal.
Remove the inflatable hose.
Safety Warning: The air compressor generates heat during inflation, causing the hose and all components to become hot. Allow the device to cool for 10 minutes before disconnecting the hose to prevent burns.
