Introduction
Thank you for choosing Teslong's NTG Rifle Borescope. This user manual is suitable for NTG500B, NTG500BH, NTG500BP, and NTG200H-500 barrel borescopes. Please read the user manual before operating the device and keep it for future reference.

Product Description
The NTG500B series is a 5-inch screen barrel borescope series from Teslong, including the NTG500 Flexible borescope, NTG500BH rigid borescope, NTG500BP pistol borescope, and the NTG200BH foldable borescope. The diameter of the borescope camera is 0.20 inches, making it easy to inspect 0.22 and larger caliber barrels. Users can check the barrel walls with the detachable side-view mirror, or remove it to check the firing pin.

Monitor Description
The monitor features controls for mode switching, image capture, and settings.
- Mode: Press the [M button] to switch between photo taking, video recording, and playback modes.
- TF card status: Indicates if a TF card is inserted or not.
- Date and time: Can be modified in the Settings menu.
Monitor Buttons:
- ① Camera probe connector
- ② Light control button: Adjusts the LED brightness of the camera.
- ③ Snap: Takes photos or starts/ends video recording.
- ④ Enter: Confirms selection or freezes the screen.
- ⑤ Up and down selection button / rotate180°
- ⑥ Mode: Switches between photo, video recording, and playback.
- ⑦ Settings: Enters or exits the settings menu.
- ⑧ Power button: Long press to turn on/off the device.
- ⑨ Auxiliary light switch
How To Adjust The Sid-View Focus
For NTG500, NTG500H, NTG500P Fixed-Focus Borescope
These borescope probes have a threaded, adjustable-focus design. After installing the side-view mirror, adjust the distance between the mirror and the camera, then fix the mirror with the lock ring to obtain sharper focus.
For example:
- A. For a .22 caliber barrel, screw the mirror out to a position farther away from the camera and fix it with the lock ring. (Approximate distance: 5.56mm from camera, 2.78mm from mirror end).
- B. For a .30 caliber barrel, screw the mirror closer to the camera. (Approximate distance: 7.62mm from camera, 5.8mm from mirror end).
For NTG200H-500B Focusable Borescope
This borescope probe has a manual focus design. After installing the side-view mirror, screw the focusing knob to obtain sharper focus.
How To Display On The Monitor
Please use the adapter cable with a USB-C plug to connect the borescope monitor.
Connection Steps:
- A: Align the groove with the red dot and insert the USB-C connector.
- B: Rotate the collar to tighten.
Press and hold the Power button [?] for a few seconds to turn the device ON/OFF.
The device is equipped with a TF memory card (inserted). Gently press to eject the card [?].
TF Card and File Management
How to Insert TF card:
- Power off the device before inserting the TF card [?].
- Ensure the direction and orientation are correct when inserting the TF card.
- Do not use excessive force when inserting or removing the TF card.
- You can only take photos [?] or record videos [?] when a TF card is inserted.
Language Settings:
The default language is English. The system supports English, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Japanese.
Setting path:
- Press the [Settings button] [⚙️] twice to enter the setting page.
- Select the second item (Language).
- Press the up/down buttons to select your desired language.
- Press the [Enter button] [✅] to save your choice.
Copy Photo and Video Files to Computer:
You can use a TF card reader [? reader] or a Type-C cable [?] to connect to a computer for copying files.
⚠️ Please pull out the probe camera first before using the Type-C cable.
How To Display On PC?
A USB port [?] can directly connect to the computer [?]. A Micro USB port [?] can connect to Android phones [?]. Please use the adapter cable with the 2-in-1 Micro USB / USB Plug to connect to your computer or Android phones.
For Win10 Users:
- Plug the borescope cable into your computer's USB port [?]. You may hear a chiming sound indicating that the laptop has recognized and connected to your borescope.
- Click on the [Camera icon] [?] found at the upper left or upper right corner of the screen, and search for "Camera", then run it.
- In the new window, click on the word "Camera" in the alphabetized vertical column on the left side of your computer screen.
- In the next window, click on the camera [? icon] found at the upper left or upper right corner of the screen. Click this icon to switch your laptop screen to the borescope camera's view. You will see different icons vertically along the right side of your screen. You can take photos [?] and save them as a record of your rifle barrel's condition.
For Windows XP, Vista, Win7 Users:
- Go to the link: http://gto.so/nte.zip and download the software named "Endoscope Camera".
- Connect the borescope to the computer.
- Open the software, and select "Teslong Camera" or "USB 2.0 PC Camera" in the settings menu.
⚠️ When you see a pop-up to "trust this software?" when downloading, you can select "trust" with confidence. Our software is 100% safe and clean with no adware, spyware, or viruses.
For Android phones:
Make sure the OTG function on your Android device is enabled before using!
DOWNLOADING THE APP: Use the endoscope with the "Smart Endoscope" app. You can download it from Apple Store/Google Play.
Connecting Guide:
- Plug the endoscope into your smart device (Type-C connector for Android Phone/Tablet) [?].
- You will receive a notification and click "Always" to use it (for Android).
You can also use the software called "Amcap" which has good compatibility.
