Product Description
The NTG500 series represents Teslong's stand-alone line of digital photo/video borescopes, including the NTG500 flexible borescope, the NTG500H rigid borescope, and the NTG500P pistol borescope. The NTG500 series is equipped with a 5.0-inch color screen, allowing firearms enthusiasts to inspect gun barrels anytime and anywhere without the need for a phone or PC. The borescope camera has a diameter of 0.2 inches, making it easy to access .20 caliber and larger barrels. The detachable side-view mirror allows users to check the barrel wall or be removed to inspect the firing point.

Borescope Unit Overview
The borescope unit features the following components:
- 1. Camera probe connector
- 2. Light control button: Adjusts the LED brightness of the camera.
- 3. Snap button: Takes photos or starts/ends video recording.
- 4. Enter button: Confirms selection or freezes the screen.
- 5. Up and down selection button / rotate 180°: Navigates menus and rotates the image.
- 6. Brightness Adjustable LEDs: Illuminates the inspection area.
- 7. Speaker: For audio output.
- 8. Microphone: For audio recording.
- 9. Reset button: Resets the device.
- 10. Screw fixing hole: For attaching accessories.
- 11. Fixing bracket hole: For mounting the device.
- 12. Side Viewing Mirror: Attaches to the probe for side viewing.
- 13. Mirror Locking Ring: Secures the side-view mirror.
- 14. Borescope Camera: The primary imaging component.
- 15. LED Lights: Integrated lighting for the camera.
- 16. Connector: General connection port.
- 17. Type-C Plug: For charging and data transfer.
Adjust Side-View Focus
The borescope probe has a threaded, adjustable-focus design. After installing the side-view mirror, adjust the distance between the mirror and the camera, then fix the mirror with the lock ring to obtain sharper focus.
Example A: For a .22 caliber barrel, you need to screw the mirror out to a position farther away from the camera and fix it in place with the lock ring. (Typical barrel dimensions: 5.56mm bore, 7.2mm rifling, 2.78mm wall thickness).
Example B: For a .30 caliber barrel, you need to screw the mirror into a position closer to the camera. (Typical barrel dimensions: 7.62mm bore, 6.2mm rifling, 3.8mm wall thickness).
How To Use The Borescope
Connecting the Probe
Align the groove on the probe connector with the red dot on the cable and insert. Rotate the collar to tighten and secure the connection.
Note: Connect the camera probe before turning on the device. Restart the device after replacing the camera probe.
Micro SD Card Insertion
The device is equipped with a TF memory card slot. Gently press the inserted card to eject it.
- Power off the device before inserting or removing the TF card.
- Ensure the correct orientation and front/back sides when inserting the TF card.
- Do not use excessive pressure when inserting or removing the TF card to prevent damage to the card slot structure.
Tips for Clear Images
Dirty lenses and mirrors are a common cause of poor image quality. Please use the provided cloth to clean the lens and the side-view mirror for a sharper image.
How To Use The Monitor
Instructions
- Power: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn the device ON/OFF.
- Mode: Press the 'M' button to switch between photo taking, video recording, and playback modes.
- Snap: Press the 'Snap' button to take a photo or start/end video recording.
- Enter: Press the 'Enter' button to confirm a selection or freeze the screen.
- Navigation: Use the Up/Down selection buttons to navigate menus and rotate the image 180°.
- Settings: Press the 'Settings' button to enter or exit the settings menu.
- Auxiliary Light: Use the auxiliary light switch to control the illumination.
- Date and Time: Modify the date and time settings within the device's menu.
Language Settings
The default language is English. The system supports multiple languages, including English, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Japanese.
Setting Path:
- Press the button twice to enter the settings page.
- Select the second item, "Language", on the settings page.
- Use the up and down keys to select your desired language.
- Press 'OK' to save your choice.
Photo/Video Recording & Playback
Recording
Press 'M' to switch to photo taking or video recording mode. Press the [Snap Button] to capture a photo or start/stop recording a video.
Playback
Press 'M' to switch to playback mode. Press 'A' to select a photo or video to view. Press the delete button to remove a photo or video.
How To Copy Photos And Video Files To Your Computer
You can copy data using a Micro SD card reader by removing the card from the device. Alternatively, you can use a Type-C cable to connect the device directly to a computer for file transfer.
? Please pull out the probe camera first before using the Type-C cable.
Charge The Monitor
Please use a 5V household charger that meets safety regulations to charge this device. The device can operate while charging.
If the device will not be used for an extended period, ensure it is charged at least once every 3 months to prevent irreparable damage caused by excessive battery discharge.
