Setup Guide
The Tensor-Go system can be used with one or two spacer units depending on the unit's position and your chosen usage. For floor-mounted operation, two spacers are recommended.
Position the subwoofer on a stable surface in the desired location, then proceed to fit the spacer columns by firmly pressing into position. Finally, insert the column loudspeaker, ensuring all joints are firmly pushed into position.
Care must be taken to position the unit to avoid causing a hazard, and ensuring it cannot be knocked over. If in doubt, the unit should be secured in place.
Control Descriptions
Channels 1 & 2 (Universal Mic/Line Inputs)
- INPUT SOCKETS: Combi input sockets accept XLR and 1/4" Jacks for balanced and unbalanced signals. Note: TRS stereo signals cannot be connected directly.
- LEVEL: Adjusts the channel level. Always set to minimum before connecting an input, then slowly increase to the desired level.
- MIC/LINE SWITCH: Adjusts gain structure for microphones (low level) or line level devices. Select before adjusting channel level.
- REVERB: Routes the channel signal to the internal reverb module.
Channel 3/4 (Stereo Line Input)
- This is a stereo input channel for line level devices. All sockets can be used simultaneously.
- AUX INPUTS: 3.5mm stereo socket for auxiliary audio sources (e.g., mobile devices).
- RCA INPUTS: RCA phono sockets for line level sources with RCA terminals.
- Bluetooth: Press to enable integrated Bluetooth. LED blinks when pairing. Search for 'HH-Tensor' on your device. LED stays on when connected. Supports TWS wireless stereo linking with two Tensor-GO systems for true stereo sound. Connect to the first system, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for two seconds to enable TWS. On the second system, press and hold the Bluetooth button to auto-find and pair. Note: Only Bluetooth audio is routed over TWS, not wired inputs like mics.
- LEVEL: Adjusts the channel level. Set to minimum before connecting input, then slowly increase. For Bluetooth, set your device volume to maximum for the best signal.
Master Section
- MASTER VOLUME: Controls the overall listening level. Set to minimum when powering the unit ON or OFF.
- POWER: Green LED indicates the system is powered up.
- LIMIT: Built-in limiter prevents overload of power amplifiers and loudspeakers. Limit LED turns red when active. Occasional blinking is acceptable; continuous illumination should be avoided by reducing Master Volume.
- MODE: Four presets optimize response:
- MUSIC: Bass & Treble lift with flat mids.
- BAND: Bass lift with flat mids & highs.
- NATURAL: Treble lift with flat lows & mids.
- SPEECH: Bass roll-off with flat mid & upper frequencies for vocal clarity.
- REVERB: Sets the overall reverb level. Ensure a channel is routed to reverb (using the REVERB switch on the channel) first.
- MIX OUT: Pre-master signal feed for connecting a second Tensor-GO, stage monitor, PA system, or recording console. MIX OUT signal level is not affected by the Master Volume control.
Rear Panel Connections
- MAINS INLET SOCKET (14): IEC input for the mains lead. Universal mains input for worldwide use (except power cord). Internal lithium battery charges when powered. System operates normally while charging.
- MAINS SWITCH (15): Turns the system on and off. Set Master Volume to minimum when switching on/off. Battery charges even if the switch is off.
- 12V DC IN (16): Allows charging from an external 12V DC source (e.g., car battery, lithium-ion power pack).
- BATTERY STATUS (17): Charge LED illuminates when charging. Four LEDs indicate charge status. Charge when the LOW indicator is lit. For reliable indication, check status with Master Volume down or inputs muted.
