*The leakage current (touch current or protective conductor current) of electrical circuit may be greatly dependent upon electrical supply cables used such as its rating and length, proper connection of electrical supply cables to luminaires and wiring connection topology of luminaires to the supply electrical circuit amongst other site conditions. In some cases referred to as Earth Leakage Current.
Installation Instructions
1. Mounting Safety String
A safety cable can be mounted for this luminaire. The safety cable and fixing screws are not provided by Signify and must be arranged by a professional installer. The material specification for the safety cable should be robust and not less than SUS304 Ø3. The safety cable length should be a minimum of 'd' and a maximum of 'd + 30cm', where 'd' is the luminaire installation distance from the ceiling or mounting surface.
2. Predefine Luminaire Direction
Define the luminaire's direction before proceeding with the installation.
3. Fixing Surface Mounting Bracket
Secure the surface mounting bracket to the ceiling or mounting surface. This typically involves drilling holes and using appropriate screws. For example, use an M4x8 screw (1 pc) tightened to 1 N.m torque.
4. Fixing Luminaire
Attach the luminaire to the installed mounting bracket. Use the provided screws, for instance, an M4x8 screw (1 pc) tightened to 1 N.m torque.
Optional Accessory Installation: Frame Clamp (ZCB504)
1. Fixing Locking Ring on Mounting Bracket
Attach the frame clamp (locking ring) onto the mounting bracket using M5 screws (2 pcs) with 2 N.m torque.
2. Tighten Locking Ring to Post
Secure the locking ring to the post or mounting pole. Use M8 screws (2 pcs, M8x35) tightened to 8 N.m torque.
3. Fixing Luminaire on Mounting Bracket
Attach the luminaire to the mounting bracket using an M4x8 screw (1 pc) tightened to 1 N.m torque.
4. Proper Use of the Locking Ring
Illustrations show correct mounting orientations for the emitting surface: horizontally, aslant, and vertically.
Wiring Connections
PSU Version Wiring
Connect the power cable (220V-240V~ 50/60Hz) to the terminals: L (Brown wire), N (Blue wire), and Earth (Yellow/Green wire). Use cable type 60245 IEC57 3x1mm².
PSD Version Wiring
Connect the power cable (220V-240V~ 50/60Hz) to L (Brown), N (Blue), and Earth (Yellow/Green) terminals (60245 IEC57 3x1mm²). Connect the signal cable (DALI) to the designated terminals. For this version, basic insulation is maintained between the Low Voltage (LV) supply and control conductors.
GU5.3 Version Wiring
For the GU5.3 version, connect the power cable (220V-240V~ 50/60Hz) to L (Brown), N (Blue), and Earth (Yellow/Green) terminals (60245 IEC57 3x1mm²). For the 12V AC power supply, an external LED driver is required. This driver must be SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) with an output voltage (Uout) of 30Vdc or less, and must provide at least double insulation and reinforced insulation between the LV supply and the output.
Application Note (GU5.3 Version)
In the GU5.3 version, if the main luminaire fails to operate normally, the AC12V power supply will power the MR16 lamp to provide temporary lighting. The MR16 lamp is not included in the package.
