Operating Instructions
Startup/Shutdown
To turn on the power, long press the power switch for 1 second. The power indicator will light up. To shut down, long press the power switch for 3 seconds.
Battery indicator and vacuum-pumping system
The indicator light shows battery level for the first 5 seconds after startup and then indicates vacuum detection status. Battery levels are indicated as follows: Blue light (80~100%), Green light (30~80%), Red light (10~30%), Red light flashing (<10%).
Vacuum detection function
Press the vacuum button to start pumping. The pump stops automatically when pumping is complete. The indicator light shows the pressure status: Red light flashing (Ordinary pressure), Red and green lights flashing alternately (Pumping or intaking), Green light flashing (Negative pressure). Pumping completed and sealed is indicated by a solid green light.
Note: Before opening the waterproof shell after use, press the air release valve to inject air.
5V power output control
In the ON state, long press the battery/switch of vacuum system key for 1 second to switch the 5V power output status (cycling on-off).
Installing optical cable and remote control
Use Weefine's dedicated optical cable (WFA76/WFA78). Insert one end into the optical cable fixing plate on the waterproof shell and connect the other end to the external flash to trigger it.
Replacing with body spare O-ring
The main O-ring on the back shell requires regular maintenance as it can accumulate debris. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it with the spare O-ring provided. Ensure the spare O-ring is lubricated before installation. Use the disassembly tool to remove the old O-ring and install the new one.
Opening and closing waterproof shell
Opening waterproof shell:
- Press the latch.
- Turn the lock disc 90° clockwise to the open position.
Closing waterproof shell:
- Align the waterproof shell with the notch of the lock disc and close it.
- Turn the lock disc 90° counterclockwise to the locked position.
Battery installation and use
- Turn the battery cover knob to the open state, open the cover, and install an 18650 lithium battery, observing the positive and negative electrode orientation.
- Close the battery cover and turn the knob to the closed state.
Note: Ensure the lithium battery is fully charged before use.
Mounting camera
Ensure the camera's hand strap is removed. Remove the lens mount from the camera and install it onto the waterproof shell. Insert the camera into the waterproof shell, connect the USB cable to the camera's charging interface, and then close the waterproof shell, verifying all controls function correctly.
Checking waterproof shell
Inspect the main waterproof O-ring for debris, damage, or indentation. Perform a water leakage function test by unscrewing the pumping seal cover and pressing the vacuum system switch. The indicator will flash red and green during pumping. A flashing green light and motor stop indicate successful pumping. Tighten the pumping seal cover. Place the housing on land for 30 minutes. If the water leakage detection indicator flashes green, the shell is properly sealed. If the red and green lights continue to flash alternately after pumping, the shell is poorly sealed and requires checking.
Note: Always tighten the pumping seal cover before entering the water.
Indicator light during vacuum test:
- Red light flashing: Before pumping
- Red and green lights flashing alternately: During pumping
- Green light flashing: After pumping
After use, open the pumping seal cover and press the air release valve to inject air before opening the shell.
Checking camera
Before mounting the camera in the waterproof shell, confirm the battery is loaded and remove the camera's hand strap to prevent it from getting caught and causing leaks. Remove the lens mount from the digital camera and install it onto the waterproof shell.
