Important Safety Information
⚠️ WARNING!!!
- Before your trip, ensure the light is securely attached and functioning. Do not use a damaged rubber band.
- Periodically check the remaining battery power while using the light.
⚠️ CAUTION!
- The light uses an acceleration sensor for deceleration detection. Activation of the Kinetic function may vary based on deceleration intensity, potentially leading to delayed or missed reactions.
- Stop your bicycle before operating the switch.
- Keep the light away from children.
- High temperatures can accelerate rechargeable battery deterioration. Avoid charging, discharging, or storing the light in hot environments, such as inside a vehicle or near a heater.
- This unit is not fully waterproof. Wipe and dry it completely after use in rain to prevent potential failure.
- Clean dirty parts with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Avoid using paint thinner, benzine, or alcohol, as these can cause damage.
? PRECAUTIONS ON CHARGING
- Recommended charger: 500+mA (USB2.0) USB battery charger.
- Charge only when the ambient temperature is between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F). Avoid charging in direct sunlight or in a vehicle parked under direct sunlight.
- Ensure the USB plug is free from dust and foreign objects before charging.
- Do not subject the light to vibrations while charging.
- Charging may not occur if your PC is in sleep state.
- Disconnect the USB plug once charging is complete.
- Charging and lighting times are approximate and can vary based on environmental and user conditions.
- If illumination time significantly decreases after proper charging, the rechargeable battery may be nearing its end of service life. Dispose of the battery according to "PRECAUTIONS ON DISPOSAL".
? STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery for 30 minutes every 6 months.
♻️ PRECAUTIONS ON DISPOSAL
- Dispose of the light unit in accordance with your local regulations.
? 1 HOW TO CHARGE
Always charge the product before use.
Charging Process:
- Connect the USB cable (MICRO USB) to the light unit.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a PC or USB battery charger.
Indicator Status:
- The indicator shows "Charging" while the battery is being charged.
- The indicator shows "Charging is completed" when the battery is fully charged.
Standard Charging Time: Approximately 2 hours (using USB 2.0).
Visual Description: The diagram shows the light unit connected via a USB cable to a power source (PC or charger). An indicator shows the charging status, transitioning from "Charging" to "Charging is completed" after about 2 hours.
? 2 HOW TO MOUNT
Attach the light securely to the seatpost.
- Use the rubber band to attach the light unit to the bicycle's seatpost.
- Ensure a firm and secure fit.
OPTION: Rubber base for Sharp Aero
For bicycle seatposts with a more acute angle, use the provided rubber base for Sharp Aero for optimal positioning.
Visual Description: The diagram illustrates attaching the light unit to a seatpost using a rubber band. An optional rubber base is shown, designed for specific seatpost angles.
⚙️ 3 HOW TO USE
Power On/Off: Press and hold the switch.
Lighting Mode Switch: Click the switch to cycle through modes.
Lighting Modes:
- Low: Approx. 5 hours runtime.
- Flashing: Approx. 25 hours runtime.
- Rapid: Approx. 16 hours runtime.
- High: (Default mode when Kinetic function is active)
Visual Description: The diagram shows the light unit with its switch. It indicates that pressing and holding the switch turns the light ON/OFF, and clicking cycles through Low, Flashing, and Rapid modes, each with approximate runtimes.
Kinetic Function:
When deceleration of the bicycle is detected by the acceleration sensor, the light automatically turns on in High mode for approximately 2.5 seconds. The light remains in High mode as long as deceleration is detected.
Runtime Notes:
- The stated runtimes exclude the Kinetic function. Actual runtime may vary when the Kinetic function is enabled.
- As a reference, with the Kinetic function enabled 60 times per hour:
- Low mode: Approx. 3 hours
- Flashing mode: Approx. 6 hours
- Rapid mode: Approx. 5 hours
Automatic Battery-Saving Function:
When the remaining battery power is low, the lighting mode switch will start flashing, and the lighting mode automatically changes to "Flash". The Kinetic function is disabled in this low battery state. Charge the light as soon as possible.
