This manual provides essential information for the CATEYE TL-LD720-R/F bicycle light, covering safe operation, charging, mounting, and maintenance.
Introduction
Before using the CATEYE TL-LD720-R/F bicycle light, please read this manual thoroughly and keep it for future reference. If a child uses the product, their guardian must read and explain the precautions to the child. This product is designed for bicycle use only. Do not use it in any way not described in this manual.

⚠️ WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
WARNINGS!!!
- Check periodically to ensure that the light unit is attached securely. Do not use a damaged rubber band.
- Always monitor the remaining battery power by checking the indicator periodically while using the light.
CAUTION!
- Stop your bicycle before operating the switch.
- Do not place the unit within children's reach.
- This unit is not completely waterproof. Please wipe and dry it completely after using it in rain. Failure to do so may cause malfunction.
- If the light unit or parts become dirty with mud, etc., clean them with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Never use paint thinner, benzine, or alcohol, as this will cause damage.

Cautions on Recharging
- We recommend using a 500+mAh (USB2.0) USB battery charger.
- Avoid charging in direct sunlight or in a vehicle parked under direct sunlight. Ensure charging occurs only when the ambient temperature is between 41°F and 104°F (5°C and 40°C).
- Before charging, ensure there is no dust or other foreign objects attached to the USB plug.
- Do not subject the light to vibrations while charging.
- The unit cannot be charged when your PC is in sleep state.
- Once charging is complete, be sure to disconnect the USB plug.
- Charging times are approximate values and will vary depending on environmental and usage conditions.
Cautions in Use
- Charging, discharging, and storing in high temperatures will cause the rechargeable battery to deteriorate faster. Do not place the light inside a vehicle or near a heater.
- If the illumination time is significantly reduced even after proper charging, the rechargeable battery may be nearing the end of its service life. Dispose of the battery as described in "Cautions for Dispose".
Cautions on Storage
Cool and dry storage is recommended. For long-period storage, it is important to charge the battery for 30 minutes every 6 months.

When disposing of the light unit, please do so in accordance with your local regulations.
1 HOW TO CHARGE
Always charge the product before use.
Connect the light unit to a PC or USB battery charger using the included Micro USB cable. The switch on the unit acts as an indicator. The charging status will show 'Charging' and then 'Charging is completed'.
Standard charging time: Approximately 3 hours (USB 2.0).
2 HOW TO MOUNT
Attach securely in the mounting position.
Vertical Mounting: Use the rubber band. For posts with a more acute angle, use the rubber base for Sharp Aero (available for Rear model, Red lens only).
Horizontal Mounting: Use the rubber band.
Mounting post diameter range: ⌀ 12 – 32 mm.
OPTION: Spacer X
Spacer X can be used with the clip or bracket for mounting.
Shade Sticker: Apply the sticker to shade the light if you are dazzled. This is available for the Front model (Clear lens only).
3 SWITCH OPERATION
The light is equipped with two LED modules, which operate independently.
To turn ON/OFF: Press and hold the switch.
To cycle through lighting modes (Click):
- High: Approximately 1 hour*
- Low: Approximately 5 hours*
- Flashing: Approximately 30 hours*
- Rapid: Approximately 16 hours*
- Group Ride: Approximately 16 hours*
- Daytime HyperFlash: Approximately 8 hours*
*These runtimes are when using the same illumination pattern simultaneously for both LED modules.
Automatic Battery-Saving Function: When the remaining battery power is low, the lighting mode switch will start flashing, and the lighting mode will automatically change to flash. Charge the light as soon as possible.

LIMITED WARRANTY
2-year Warranty: Light unit only (excludes battery deterioration)
CatEye products are warranted to be free of defects from materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the original purchase date. If the product fails to work during normal use, CatEye will repair or replace the defect at no charge. Service must be performed by CatEye or an authorized retailer.
To return the product for service, pack it carefully and enclose the warranty certificate (proof of purchase) along with instructions for repair. Please write or type your name and address clearly on the warranty certificate. Insurance, handling, and transportation charges to CatEye shall be borne by the person desiring service.
For UK and REPUBLIC OF IRELAND consumers, please return the product to the place of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.
