Section I – Installing iVMS320 Programme
Downloading iVMS320 Programme
- Go to https://zintronic.com/bitvision-cameras.
- Download iVMS320 from the link in the table.
Installing iVMS320 Programme on your PC Device
- Click on the downloaded programme.
- Proceed through the installation as any other standard one.
- Run the programme.
- After opening, register your account with a login and password of your choice.
- Select "Remember Password" / "Auto Login" if you wish to use these features, then log in to the main panel.
The iVMS320 login screen displays fields for username and password, a 'Connect' button, and options for 'Remember Password' and 'Auto Login'.
Section II – Adding Camera to iVMS320 Programme
Adding Camera Through Auto Search
- Navigate to the main interface and select "Device Management".
- At the bottom of the screen, you should see devices connected via LAN or Wi-Fi, listed with their IP addresses.
- Check the box next to the devices you wish to add, then click the "Add To" option, located slightly above the device list.
The Device Management interface shows a list of 'Online Devices' with columns for 'Device Name', 'Protocol', 'IP Addr', 'Port', and 'Is Added'. An 'Add To' button is available to add selected devices.
Adding Camera Using IP Address
- Click on "Add Devices" in the top-right corner of the programme.
- Check the box for "IP/DDNS" adding mode.
- Enter the IP address of the device you want to add.
- Fill the "Port" field with 80.
- In the "User" field, enter the device login credentials.
- In the "Password" field, enter the device password.
- For "Channel Number", enter the device's corresponding channels (typically 1 for a camera, or the number of channels for an NVR, e.g., 9 for a 9-channel NVR).
- In the "Protocol" field, select the device's corresponding protocol. Common options include "Herospeed/IPC" for most cameras, "ONVIF/IPC" for compatible cameras or other brands, "Herospeed/NVR" for standard NVRs, or "Herospeed/XVR" for Hybrid NVRs.
- Click the "Add" button.
? NOTE: All cameras added via auto-search and IP address are viewable only on the local network. For P2P function, use serial number adding only.
Adding Camera Using Serial Number
- Click on "Add Devices" in the top-right corner of the programme.
- Check the box for "P2P Device" adding mode.
- Enter the serial number of the device you want to add.
- Enter the device user's login.
- Enter the device user's password.
- For "Channel Number", enter the device's corresponding channels (typically 1 for a camera, or the number of channels for an NVR, e.g., 9 for a 9-channel NVR).
- In the "Protocol" field, select the device's corresponding protocol. Common options include "Herospeed/IPC" for most cameras, "ONVIF/IPC" for compatible cameras or other brands, "Herospeed/NVR" for standard NVRs, or "Herospeed/XVR" for Hybrid NVRs.
- Click the "Add" button.
The 'Add Devices' window with 'P2P Device' mode selected shows fields for 'Series Num', 'User', 'Password', 'Channel Num', and 'Protocol', along with 'Cancel' and 'Add' buttons.
Section III – Using Camera in iVMS
Adding Camera to Live View Section
- Click on "Live".
- Click on "Video".
- Expand the "Server" list.
- Select the camera by its IP/SN.
- Drag the camera to an empty slot in the live view grid.
- After this action, you should see live footage from the camera.
Screenshots illustrate navigating to the 'Live' view, selecting 'Video', expanding the 'Server' list, choosing a camera by its identifier (e.g., '8801177500726_1'), and dragging it into a video pane to display live footage.
Recordings Playback
- Click on "Remote Playback".
- Choose "File List".
- Select the type of recording.
- Specify the time range for the recording you are looking for.
- Click "Search".
- Click "Play" on the display menu.
? NOTE: Before going into Playback, close the live view!!
The Remote Playback section shows options to select recording 'Type', set 'start/end time', and 'Search'. A timeline interface displays recorded segments for different devices (e.g., WND1, WND2).
