It is crucial to adhere to these Installation and Maintenance Instructions.
- All electrical installations must be performed by qualified and competent personnel according to statutory requirements.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- An all-pole disconnection switch must be incorporated into the fixed wiring, in accordance with local wiring regulations.
- The fan must be mounted to a solid structure capable of supporting at least 60Kg.
- Fan blades must be installed at least 2.1m above the floor as per Australian regulations.
- Fan blades must be a minimum of 300mm from the nearest wall or permanent object.
WARNING: FOR SAFE USE OF THIS FAN, AN ALL-POLE DISCONNECTION MUST BE INCORPORATED INTO THE FIXED WIRING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WIRING RULES. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
A single-pole switch must also be placed in the same room as the fan as per local wiring regulations AS/NZS 3000.

Installation
WARNING: Isolate the fan from the power supply before installation and maintenance. Inspect the fan for any damage upon receipt.
- The fan is suitable for ceiling mounting only. Ensure the installation location is adequately supported.
- Ensure the power supply matches the specifications. Incorrect power supply can damage the fan motor.
- Install the Mounting Bracket: Secure the bracket to the ceiling joist or similar structure. For timber frames, ensure wood screws are threaded at least 30mm into the support. The beam must be able to support up to 60Kg. (Note: Supplied screws are for timber structures only; use appropriate fasteners for other materials.)
- For angled ceilings, the fan hanging system supports a maximum mounting angle of 13 degrees. Ensure the mounting angle is less than this.
- Attach the Blades: Insert the blade through the slot on the motor housing and align blade holes with motor hub holes. Secure with 4 bolts. Do not overtighten. Repeat for all 8 blades.
- Install the Hub Cover: Place the cover over the motor hub, align holes, and secure with 4 screws.
- Install the Downrod: Remove the downrod ball from the downrod. Feed motor wiring through the downrod. Position the downrod over the motor shaft and insert bolts through matching holes. Secure with washers, nuts, and safety locking pins.
- Install Coupling Cover and Canopy: Slide the coupling cover onto the downrod, then the canopy. Re-install the downrod ball in its original position, ensuring it is secure.
- Hang the Fan Assembly: Lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket. Position the downrod ball so the notch rests over the pin on the mounting bracket to prevent rotation.
- After hanging and fitting blades, gently rotate the fan by hand to ensure it spins freely.
- Connect Wiring: Join the quick-connect wiring terminals between the fan assembly and mounting bracket, including the remote control unit, as per the wiring diagram.
- Fit Lower Cover/LED Diffuser: If installing the optional LED light kit, connect the LED plug to the motor hub plug. Secure the cover by locating it into position and rotating clockwise.
- Install Remote Receiver: Insert the remote receiver into the mounting bracket. Connect all quick-connect plugs between the bracket, receiver, and fan as per the wiring diagram.

- Switch off the mains supply to the fan.
- Within 30 seconds of switching the mains supply back on, press and hold the Fan ON/OFF button for at least 5 seconds. An extended beep indicates successful pairing.
- Test the remote to confirm pairing.
Fan Movement and Noise
Ceiling fans may exhibit slight movement or 'wobble' during operation due to their mounting. Ensure all mounting screws and fasteners are tight and that rotating components are free of dust and build-up to minimize this.
Slight changes in motor noise may be noticeable in quiet spaces due to variations in electrical supply. This is normal and not a fault.
Fan Maintenance
- Inspect the fan every 12 months to ensure the motor, blades, and guards are clean. Remove dust and deposits with a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Check all fastenings for tightness. Check all rotating items.
- Bearings are 'sealed for life' and do not require detailed inspection.
