Lending the Scooter: Before lending, ensure the borrower has read this manual, watched the instructional video, and learned novice instructions. You are responsible for their safety. Assist them until they master basic operation and ensure they wear protective gear.

Pre-ride Check: Before riding, check for loose fasteners and damaged parts. If the scooter makes abnormal noise or sounds an alarm, stop using it immediately and consult your point of purchase or contact service@imscv.com.

After the scooter is folded, hold the riser to carry it.

10. Cleaning and Storage

Cleaning: Wipe the scooter mainframe with a soft damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a toothbrush and toothpaste, then clean with a soft damp cloth.

Tips: Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive, volatile solvents. Do not spray the scooter with a pressure water-gun or water pipe.

Warning: Before cleaning, ensure the scooter is powered off and the charging cable is unplugged. Fasten the rubber cover of the charging port. Failure to do so may damage electronic components or the battery.

Storage: Place the scooter in a bright and dry place. Do not park outdoors. Sun exposure or extreme temperatures (overheating and too cold) can accelerate aging of plastic parts and reduce battery life.

Battery Maintenance and Storage:

  • Use the original battery from authorized suppliers.
  • Use the original charger; otherwise, the battery may be damaged or pose a fire risk.
  • Do not attempt to damage or disassemble the battery, as it contains harmful substances.
  • If the battery is damaged or has been in water, do not recharge or use it.
  • Do not plug in the charger when the charging port or cable is wet.
  • Do not disassemble, squeeze, or puncture the product. Avoid touching battery contacts. Avoid short circuits caused by metal objects touching battery contacts.
  • Do not immerse the battery and scooter in water or ride in the rain. Do not clean with high-pressure hoses. If exposed to heavy rain, wipe dry immediately and consult service staff.
  • Do not place the scooter in environments over 45°C or below -20°C. If stored below 0°C, warm it up to over 10°C before charging.
  • Improper use may attenuate battery performance, which is not covered by warranty.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to local laws and regulations to prevent environmental pollution.

Battery Performance: The battery maintains good condition after many miles. Recharge on time. Battery life and performance are best at 22°C and may degrade below 0°C. Check the Inmotion App for more information.
