Structure Description

The device features the following components:

Operation Guide 1: Charging

To charge the device, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the device to a USB port on a PC or a power bank.
  2. The recording function is available while charging with a charger or power bank.
  3. A red LED indicates charging status; it turns off when fully charged, and the blue LED turns on.

Charging typically takes 1-2 hours to complete.

Operation Guide 2: Basic Operations

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power key for approximately one second to turn the device on or off.

Video Recording

In standby mode, short press the "Power/ Video" key. The blue LED will slowly flash, indicating video recording is in progress. Short press the "Power/ Video" key again to stop recording; the blue LED will remain on. Video data is saved as an AVI file every 5 minutes.

Audio Recording

In standby mode, short press the "Audio" key. The yellow LED will slowly flash, indicating audio recording is in progress. Short press the "Audio" key again to stop recording; the blue LED will remain on. Audio data is saved as a WAV file every 1 hour.

Status Indicator

Press and hold the "Audio" key for 1 second to turn the status indicator on or off.

Motion Detection

Press and hold the "photographing" key for 1 second to enable or disable motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record video for 1 minute.

Reset Hole

Use a thin needle to press the reset hole to reset the device if it stops working.

Operation Guide 3: Settings and PC Connection

Settings Configuration

Users can set video resolution to 720P (default) or 1080P, enable/disable loop video recording (enabled by default), and enable/disable time watermark (enabled by default).

To configure these settings:

  1. Connect the device to a PC with a Micro SD card inserted.
  2. Create a new TXT document named 'settings' in the root directory of the SD card.
  3. Input content as '1,0,1', where each number is optionally 0 or 1:
    • The first number: 0 for 720P, 1 for 1080P.
    • The second number: 0 to disable loop video recording, 1 to enable.
    • The third number: 0 to disable time watermark, 1 to enable.
  4. Save the file and unplug the device. Reboot the device. The 'settings' document will disappear upon successful configuration.

Connecting to Computer

When connected to a computer, the yellow LED will flash slowly. You can then access data on the SD card or use the device as a USB camera.

Modifying the Time

Time settings can be adjusted by modifying the time within a TXT file named "settime" located in the root directory of the SD card. Save the file, unplug the device, and then restart it. The time in the file will revert to its original value after the setting is applied.
