Product Functions
Video
Insert an SD card into the product and connect the device to the included car charger. When the car is turned on, the device will begin recording automatically.
Image & Video Playback
Turn the unit on via the power button & press the mode/lock button to change through record & playback modes. Press the up / down keys to cycle through images or recorded video, and press the OK button to begin playback of video.
USB Connection
There are three options when connected to a computer through USB:
- Mass storage: used to play, copy & delete files recorded from the device.
- PC camera: the device can be used as a web camera.
- Recording: used to record video to the microSD card.
G-Sensor
The product has an in-built G-sensor which will lock the video file currently recording. The locked video cannot be overwritten and a lock symbol [lock-symbol] will be displayed in playback mode for that file.
Parking Mode
Press the red button [red-button-symbol] on the back of the unit to enable parking mode. If the car detects vibration, such as a knock to the vehicle, the device will begin recording & the file will also lock to prevent being overwritten.
Loop Recording
The system will automatically overwrite existing files unless locked via the G-sensor. Blocks are recorded in either 1/3/5 minute blocks.
Record Audio
Audio is recorded by default. To disable audio recording, tap the Up button [up-arrow-symbol] while the device is recording.

- This device is designed to record video while the vehicle is in operation. The quality of the video might be affected by weather conditions and the road environment, such as whether it is day or night, presence of street lighting, entering / exiting tunnels, and the surrounding temperature.
- This device is only intended to be used inside a vehicle.
Driving & Product Operation
Do not operate the product while driving a vehicle. Distraction while driving may cause accidents & result in injury or death.
Install the product in places where the driver's view is not obstructed. Obstruction of the driver's vision may cause accidents and result in injury or death. Check with your state laws before mounting the product to the windshield.
Power Supply
Connect the car adapter's mini USB plug to the mini USB port in the side of the device. Connect the cigarette lighter adapter plug to the vehicle's cigarette lighter port. It is suggested to wire the cable along your windscreen or dash to keep it secure.
In certain models of cars, the cigarette lighter keeps providing power even when the engine is switched off. Be sure to remove the car charger or disconnect the device when leaving the vehicle to prevent draining the vehicle battery. Check your vehicle's owner's manual to determine if this applies to your vehicle.
