Vickers by Danfoss AxisPro Proportional Valves

Vickers by Danfoss has developed a new low flow fine metering spool that uses a simplified production process and lowers the overall cost of the valve. Over time, Danfoss plans to phase out all valves with the 3F spool version and replace them with valves featuring the 3N spool version.

Technical Background

With advancements in machining technology, a new 3N spool design has been launched, leveraging the advantages of a faster production process. Consequently, the current 3F spool design, which required more complex manufacturing processes, will be replaced.

Update Procedure

The following conversion table provides 3N versions of the valve that should replace the 3F valve versions previously used. Danfoss encourages customers to switch to the new 3N version to benefit from cost savings. For detailed pricing, please refer to the new product series list price in Powersource.

If there are technical reasons why an application must continue to use the 3F spool, please contact imcproductupport@danfoss.com. While the 3F version will not be immediately discontinued, its cost is expected to rise over time.
