Advantages
The Design Phase
- Ideal heating system for early autumn or spring, and serves as a perfect complementary heating system (e.g., additional heating in bathrooms alongside a towel dryer).
- High power output ensures greater heating comfort, especially in areas with poor subfloor insulation.
- Extremely low installation height, approximately 3.5 mm.
- Suitable for renovation projects.
- Can be safely used in shower areas.
- Compatible with all stable, non-combustible subfloors, including concrete, anhydrite, plaster, and ceramic subfloors.
- Suitable for floor coverings such as tiles, marble, and stones, with a maximum thickness of 30 mm.
The Installation Phase
- Fast and easy installation due to the self-adhering mat.
- The low profile design avoids issues with existing door heights or floor levels of existing stairs.
- Features a dual-conductor cable with a single cold lead connection, simplifying layout and installation of the mats.
- Available in various heating mat sizes to fit all room dimensions.
- The heating cable can be detached from the mat with just two cuts, allowing the loose cable to navigate around obstacles.
- The cable is protected by the mat during the installation process.
The Application
Ideal for providing comfort heating in bathrooms, kitchens, and conservatories. Offers quick heat-up times due to the high power of the heating mat. Features extra low energy consumption and remote control/monitoring capabilities via the WIFI-enabled, EcoDesign compliant touchscreen SENZ WIFI timer thermostat. The dual-conductor heating cable produces no measurable electro-magnetic fields, ensuring long life and maintenance-free operation.

Subfloor Preparation
The subfloor must be clean, stable, and rigid, free from cracks or adhesion-reducing substances, and constructed from non-combustible material. Any large cracks in the subfloor should be filled before laying the mat. Uneven surfaces require leveling prior to installation. For cement plaster and anhydrite plaster, ensure sufficient drying according to applicable norms. Anhydrite plaster should be smooth and dust-free. For quickly solidifying plaster, follow the supplier's instructions. Apply a layer of tile glue primer (selected based on the subfloor type) to the floor before installing the mat to ensure good adhesion of the QuickNet to the subfloor. The heating cable must not be installed under bathtubs, shower cabins, surface covering furniture, or in areas where holes will be drilled in the floor. Always follow application norms, rules, data sheets, instructions, and manuals.
Installation Instruction
The QuickNet cold lead is inserted into a flexible tubing and connected to the connection box. The QuickNet 160 must always be controlled by an electric underfloor heating thermostat with an external floor sensor, compliant with the EcoDesign directive (such as NRG-DM, GREEN LEAF, or SENZ WIFI). The thermostat sensor, also protected in a flexible tubing (3m included with R-QN-P), should be positioned centrally between two heating cable runs and as close as possible to the final floor covering. QuickNet 160 is suitable for installation under tiles and natural stone. The mat can be embedded directly in the tile glue, ensuring it is covered by at least 5mm of tile glue.
