Touch the Power On/Off symbol for 1 second to activate or deactivate the appliance.

The relation between heat setting and times of the Automatic Switch Off function:
To set the cooking zone touch the sensor field related to this zone. The display highlights the heat setting indication (dot).
Set the cooking zone. Touch + to increase the heat setting. Touch - to decrease the heat setting. The display shows the heat setting. Touch + and - at the same time to deactivate the cooking zone.
When the cooking zones operate, you can lock the control panel, but not the Power On/Off symbol. It prevents an accidental change of the heat setting.
First set the heat setting.
To start this function touch the Lock symbol. The symbol L comes on for 4 seconds.
To stop this function touch the Lock symbol. The heat setting that you set before comes on.
When you stop the appliance, you also stop this function.
ⓘ The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as possible.
Cookware made of enamelled steel and with aluminium or copper bottoms can cause discoloration on glass ceramic surface.
If possible, always put the lids on the cookware.
Put cookware on a cooking zone before you start it.
Stop the cooking zones before the end of the cooking time to use residual heat.
The bottom of pans cooking zones should have same dimension.

Important! According to the newest scientific knowledge, if you brown food (especially the one which contains starch), acrylamides can pose a health risk. Thus, it is recommended that cooking be done at the lowest temperatures and not to brown food too much.
Clean the appliance after each use. Always use cookware with clean bottom.
ⓘ Scratches or dark stains on the glass-ceramic cause no effect on how the appliance operates.

If you tried the above solutions and cannot repair the problem, speak to your dealer or the Customer Care Department. Give the data from the rating plate, Three-digit-letter code for the glass ceramic (it is in the corner of the cooking surface) and an error message that comes on. If the appliance was operated incorrectly, servicing by a customer service technician or dealer will not be free of charge, even during the warranty period. Instructions about customer service and conditions of guarantee are in the guarantee booklet.

The earth cord (green / yellow cable) must be 2 cm longer than phase and neutral cables (blue and brown cables).
Diagram shows electrical connections for EHC325BA. It includes live (L) and neutral (N) inputs, connecting to a user interface (XC01, 3-pole) and a main board (BB01 Everest). Relays (REL1, REL2, REL3, REL4, REL9) are shown, along with connections to heating elements (r33, r342) and various terminals (BR1 to BR16). A ground connection is also indicated.

Two main elements are shown: a large element and a small element, each with heat sensors and temperature limiters (mp01). Neon indicators are also present. The wiring schematic indicates supply (neon, neutral) and load (neon, neutral) connections, with a mains supply of 220-240V~ 50/60Hz. The schematic number is 305457004.
The symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about recycling of this product please contact your local council, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
The packaging materials are friendly to the environment and can be recycled. The plastic components are identified by marking: >PE<, >PS<, etc. Discard the packaging materials as household waste at the waste disposal facilities in your municipality.

The minimum distances to other appliances and units are to be observed. (see page 13)

If this appliance's mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable (type H05BB-F Tmax 90°C; or higher). The latter is available from the Customer Care Department. The connection must be carried out as shown in the diagram.
The earth lead is connected to terminal (earth symbol). The earth lead must be longer than leads carrying electric current. The cable connections must be made in accordance with regulations and the terminal screws tightened securely. Finally, the connecting cable is to be secured with the mains cable cleat and the covering closed by pressing firmly (lock into place). Before switching on for the first time, any protective foil or stickers must be removed from the glass ceramic surface.
⚠ Warning! Once connected to the mains supply check that all cooking zones are ready for use by briefly switching each on in turn at the maximum setting.
