- Screwdriver (Phillips head)
- Pencil
- Spirit Level
- Hammer
Assembly Steps
Follow the numbered steps below for assembly. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned before proceeding.
Step 1: Attach the wall mounting bracket to the unit using screws (104321, 104322) and dowels (100092). Use the provided template (121030) for alignment.
Step 2: Connect the side panels to the base panel. Ensure the panels are flush and secure them with dowels (101339) using a hammer.
Step 3: Insert the middle shelf into the unit and secure it with dowels (101339) using a hammer.
Step 4: Attach the remaining side panels and shelves using dowels (101339) and a hammer.
Step 5: Insert the back panels into the designated grooves.
Step 6: Secure the back panels with dowels (101339) using a hammer.
Step 7: Attach the top panel to the assembled unit using screws (104321, 104322) and dowels (100092).
Step 8: Attach the wall mounting hardware to the back of the unit using screws (104321, 104322) and the provided bracket (121030).
Step 9: Place the unit in its desired location and mark the wall for drilling. Ensure the unit is level using a spirit level.
Step 10: Drill holes in the wall at the marked locations and insert appropriate wall plugs (not included). Secure the unit to the wall using screws (104321, 104322) through the wall mounting bracket.
Step 11: Attach the decorative caps (100372) to cover the screw heads.
Step 12: Final check to ensure all connections are secure and the unit is stable.

Wall Attachment Instructions
To prevent tip-over accidents, it is crucial to secure the KALLAX unit to the wall using the provided wall attachment hardware. The specific screws and wall plugs required will depend on your wall material and should be purchased separately.
- Identify the appropriate location on the wall for the unit. Use a spirit level to ensure the unit will be mounted straight.
- Mark the wall through the holes in the wall attachment bracket.
- Drill holes in the wall at the marked locations.
- Insert suitable wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Align the unit with the wall and secure it by screwing through the wall attachment bracket into the wall plugs.
