The AMZCHEF Induction Cooker features a sleek design with two heating zones and an intuitive control panel. Key components include:
Unlike standard hotplates that heat themselves, an induction hotplate generates heat directly in the base of the cookware. The hob itself does not heat up; it becomes hot when food is heated in a pan, and the heat from the pan reflects onto the hob (reverse heating). This process is caused by an energy field that generates heat only in magnetically conductive materials, such as iron pans. Materials like porcelain, glass, or ceramic will not generate a heating effect.
Only use cookware with a base suitable for induction cooking. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or bottom of the pan. An induction symbol typically looks like a coiled wire or a series of loops.
To check suitability, perform a magnet test: Move a magnet towards the base of the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is suitable for induction.
If you do not have a magnet, put some water in the pan, turn on the cooker, and wait for 3 minutes to see if the water gets hot.
Unsuitable materials: Pure stainless steel, aluminum or copper without a magnetic base, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic, and earthenware. Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
Ensure the pan base is smooth and sits flat against the glass. Always center the pan on the cooking zone. The diameter should not be less than 10 cm and not exceed 26 cm for optimal energy field effect.
Always lift pans off the induction cooker; do not slide them, as they may scratch the glass surface.
Thin pan bases are better suited for induction cooking than thick sandwich bases, as induction allows for very short response times to setting modifications (quick preheating, rapid and controllable browning).
