VariFlo Valve Overview

The HAYWARD VariFlo multiport valve is engineered for maximum flow and minimal pressure drop, making it a preferred choice for professionals. All VariFlo Valve models feature an easy-to-use lever handle, allowing for efficient selection of up to 6 functions within a single unit. Each valve also includes a clear sight glass on the side, enabling observation of water clarity inside the filter during backwash operations.

Features: VariFlo Valve Control Functions

FILTER: For normal water filtration.

BACKWASH: For cleaning the sand filter bed, removing accumulated debris.

RINSE: Used after backwash to settle the filter media.

WASTE: Drains water directly to waste without passing through the filter, used for draining the pool or vacuuming to waste.

RECIRCULATE: Circulates water through the valve and back to the pool, bypassing the filter.

CLOSED: Shuts off the filter operation.

WINTER: For winterizing (available only on SP0714T model).
