About Cubby
Welcome to the world of FurReal Cubby, the curious bear designed for interactive play and companionship. Cubby is ready for adventures, whether indoors or out, and comes with over 100 sound-and-motion combinations to keep playtime exciting.
Getting Started
To bring Cubby to life, you'll need four 1.5V C LR14 alkaline batteries. Use a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to insert them, ensuring correct polarity. Once powered on, Cubby can respond to various interactions.
How to Play
- Activation Points: Interact with Cubby by petting his cheeks or the top of his head, talking to him, blowing on his nose, feeding him his bottle or treat, tickling his tummy, or pressing his left paw.
- Babblin' Play: Talk to Cubby, and he'll babble back. For best results, stand about six inches away. See how he reacts to music!
- Nighttime Mode: Slide the switch to the nighttime mode for a calming experience. Cubby will enter a 5-minute sequence with closing eyes, sleepy sounds, and soft music or forest sounds. You can change sequences by pressing his left paw.
- Sleep Mode: After a minute of inactivity, Cubby will enter sleep mode. Wake him by pressing his mouth or left paw.
Care and Maintenance
- Surface Cleaning: Gently wipe Cubby with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt. Avoid getting him wet and do not use stain removers.
- Troubleshooting: For optimal performance, play on a hard, flat surface. If Cubby doesn't respond, try moving him to a quieter location or changing the batteries.
