Downloading the App:
Download the EcoFlow app for home or installer use. Scan the QR codes or visit the provided links.
Operating Modes:
- Shutdown Mode: No internal power, inverter, or battery DC-DC converter is operating.
- Standby Mode: Internal auxiliary power is on, but inverter and battery DC-DC converter are off.
- Self-test Mode: Internal auxiliary power is on, inverter and battery DC-DC converter are off. System enters self-test upon receiving a power-on command.
- Operation Mode: Internal auxiliary power, inverter, and battery DC-DC converter are operating. The inverter converts DC to AC power.
Backup Power Function:
The inverter creates a backup power supply using battery and PV energy during grid outages. This function is enabled by default.
- During a grid outage, backup loads connected to AC-BACKUP are powered by the battery and PV system.
- Batteries are charged by the PV system during backup operation if sufficient energy is available.
- When grid power is restored, the backup power function is automatically disabled, and loads are powered by the grid.
- Switching time to backup power is typically less than 20 ms.
Backup Power Overload Protection:
The inverter may restart automatically after an overload. If the situation repeats, the restart time will be extended. Try disconnecting loads with high inrush currents.
