This document serves as a manufacturer's declaration regarding the compliance of EcoFlow PowerOcean Hybrid inverters with German grid connection standards.
Confirmation of Compliance with FNN Document "Connection and Operation of Storage Systems on the Low Voltage Grid"
EcoFlow Inc. hereby confirms that the EcoFlow PowerOcean Plus Hybrid inverters meet the requirements of the FNN document "Connection and Operation of Storage Systems on the Low Voltage Grid" (July 2024 version).
Requirement 4.3: Storage without Feed-in to the Public Grid
If storage charging from the public grid is to occur, it must be technically ensured that the power charged from the grid is not fed back into the public grid.
Requirement 4.2: Energy Flow Monitoring
To prevent feed-in, the energy flow at the grid connection point is measured by a meter (storage system sensor). This data is transmitted to the inverter. EcoFlow Inc. confirms that a functional test (type test) of the storage system sensor has been carried out and confirms its proper functioning.
Requirement 4.4: Power Feed-in Limitation
After parameterization of the inverter, it prevents the feed-in of active power from the home storage system (battery + hybrid inverter) into the public grid. Therefore, the home storage system meets the requirements of the FNN notice for the energy flow direction sensor (Chapter 4.2) and zero feed-in (Chapter 4.4).

EcoFlow Inc. declares that the following products, including necessary accessories, meet the requirements of VDE-AR-E 2510-2 Stationary Electrical Energy Storage Systems for Connection to the Low Voltage Grid. Only battery storage systems that have undergone an integration and testing process at EcoFlow Inc. can be connected to the system. System components not listed in this declaration are not considered tested by EcoFlow Inc.

After a maximum of 120 ms, the inverter trips and stops production (current = 0 A). Automatic reconnection is deactivated by default and can be activated by the installer.
If automatic reconnection is activated:
- Maximum number of reconnection attempts: 3
- Waiting time between reconnection attempts: minimum 60 seconds.
A.2 Voltage Limitation (according to 6.410.2)
In the event of a short circuit, the voltage on the short-circuited phase will not exceed the following values (with a resistance of 0.3 Ω):
