Notice of Compressor Running Status

It's a normal phenomenon that the compressor and fan keep running when the ambient humidity reaches the preset RH. The fan stops 5 minutes after the preset RH is reached. The compressor stops when the ambient humidity is 4% lower than the preset RH, and it starts automatically when the ambient humidity level is 4% higher than the preset level. The Return Difference design featuring 4% error range is for better protecting and prolonging lifespan of the appliance.

Before First Use

To prevent any unintended damage, please leave the appliance standing upright and outside the box for 2 HOURS before plugging it in. It is very important to keep the appliance upright on a flat surface during use.

Special Functions:

Drainage

There are two methods of drainage:

01 Manual Drainage

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will alarm and stop working automatically. The "Full Tank Indicator Light" will turn on. It is recommended to pour out the water from the tank.

  1. Gently remove the water tank.
  2. Empty the tank and place it back correctly. If the tank is not positioned correctly, the indicator light will remain on.

[Diagram: The water tank is shown being gently removed from the dehumidifier.]

02 Continuous Drainage (optional)

This method allows for continuous drainage without the need to manually empty the tank.

[Diagram: Dehumidifier shown with a hose attached to the continuous drainage outlet. Components labeled: Rubber Cap B, Rubber Cap A, Long Hose.]

  1. Remove Rubber Cap A from the continuous drainage outlet and take off Rubber Cap B. Plug the long hose into the continuous drainage outlet. Ensure the hose is directed downwards for proper drainage.
  2. Insert the removed Rubber Cap A into "Hole A" on the dehumidifier. Then, place the water tank back into the dehumidifier.

[Diagram: A close-up view shows Rubber Cap A being inserted into "Hole A" on the dehumidifier.]

Activated Carbon Filter

An additional activated carbon filter is provided for absorbing unpleasant odors. To install, remove the existing filter, place the activated carbon filter between the original filter and the grid, and then reassemble all parts.

Care & Cleaning

Attention: Always keep the machine unplugged before performing any maintenance or washing procedures.

  1. Please clean the dehumidifier after turning it off for at least 1 hour.
  2. Use a slightly water-dampened cloth to clean the exterior of the dehumidifier.
  3. Do not use volatile chemicals, gasoline, detergent, chemically treated fabrics, or other cleaning solutions, as they may cause damage to the dehumidifier.
  4. Do not wash the dehumidifier directly with water.

Clean The Filter

A dry and clean filter is crucial for maintaining effective dehumidifying performance. It is recommended to clean and dry the filter every two weeks.

[Diagram: Steps for cleaning the filter are illustrated: 1. Remove the water tank and then take out the filter. 2. Remove dirt and wash the filter. 3. Leave the filter to air-dry completely in the shade.]

Storage

If the dehumidifier will not be used for an extended period, please store it following these instructions:

  1. Turn off the dehumidifier, unplug it from the power source, and secure the power cord.
  2. Empty the water tank and ensure it is completely dry.
  3. Clean the filter and ensure it is thoroughly dry.
  4. Store the dehumidifier in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Notice of Continuous Drainage

Wrong Use Methods

  1. If a U-shape or V-shape is present in the hose, accumulated water can obstruct drainage, potentially causing backflow into the water tank or leaks from other lower parts of the appliance.
  2. If there is insufficient space between the hose outlet and the water collecting vessel, increased water pressure due to rising water levels can lead to drainage failure. This may result in backflow into the water tank or leaks from other lower parts of the appliance.

[Diagram: An illustration depicts incorrect hose placement for continuous drainage, showing a U-bend where water accumulates, hindering proper flow.]

[Diagram: An illustration shows incorrect hose placement for continuous drainage where insufficient space between the hose outlet and the collection vessel causes water backup and potential leaks.]

Advised Use Methods

Method 1: For external water collecting vessel

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Ensure the hose is directed downwards.
  2. Verify that the drainage outlet of the appliance is consistently positioned higher than the maximum water level in the collecting vessel to prevent water from flowing backward.
  3. Maintain a constant height difference of 5.5 inches between the hose outlet and the appliance's drainage outlet, ensuring the hose outlet remains lower at all times.

[Diagram: A dehumidifier is shown with a hose draining into an external container. A measurement indicates the required 5.5-inch height difference between the hose outlet and the appliance's drainage point.]

Method 2: For floor drain

Connect the hose securely to the appliance and place the opposite end directly into a floor drain for continuous drainage.
