Emergency calling

A worker whose safety is threatened can press a hard or soft dedicated button to initiate an emergency call, with the highest priority, to reach the right resource for assistance.

Remote user check

Monitor the health of a user's device, including battery level, signal strength and location, or disable the WAVE PTX application on the device if it is lost or stolen.

Ambient listening

Remotely open the microphone of a user's device to determine if they are in distress and in need of assistance by listening to the sounds from the surrounding environment.

Or, you can use Radio over IP (RoIP) to connect WAVE PTX users to those on non-MOTOTRBO networks, including LMR networks from other vendors.

Enhance awareness with video streaming

An optional feature for both the WAVE PTX mobile and dispatch applications, video streaming makes it possible for users to continuously stream video at the push of a button. By improving clarity and enhancing awareness, streaming video delivers faster, more accurate communication in the moments that matter.

Continuously stream live video

WAVE PTX users can push live video, to another user, dispatcher or talkgroup from the device's integrated camera. While receiving a video stream, recipients can continue to receive PTT calls, switching between the video session and PTT call as needed.

Request live video from users

Dispatchers can pull live video from the device of a WAVE PTX user. The live video stream can either start once the targeted user has accepted the request or automatically upon request receipt unless prohibited by the user.

Simultaneous PTT calls

Users streaming or receiving video can still participate in PTT calls, switching between them as needed.
