Important Safety Instructions
DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Before using the appliance, check for any visible external damage. Do not operate a damaged or dropped appliance.
- Connect the appliance only to a properly installed and earthed electrical socket with a voltage that matches the one specified on the rating plate. The socket must be easily accessible to allow quick disconnection of the appliance from the power supply in an emergency.
- Route the power cord so that it does not come into contact with hot or sharp objects. Route it in a way that it cannot be kinked, crushed, or otherwise damaged.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when moving or filling it, in case of a fault, before cleaning it, or when it is not in use! Always pull the plug itself, never the power cord. Never touch the appliance plug with wet or damp hands.
- Never immerse the motor unit, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids! If the appliance falls into a liquid, immediately pull the plug from the socket. Have the appliance checked before using it again.
- If the power connection cable of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
- Always keep the appliance, power cord, and plug away from open flames and hot surfaces.
Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas. Protect it from rain and moisture.
Position the appliance so that it cannot fall into water, e.g., near a bathtub or sink.
The appliance must always be disconnected from the power supply when not supervised, before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
Never open the motor unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Opening the housing poses a risk of electric shock!
Never process more than 700 ml of ice cream mixture in the freezing bowl.
Never operate the appliance with an empty freezing bowl.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been correctly instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting hazards.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance tasks unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.
- The appliance and its connection cable must be kept out of reach of children younger than 8 years.
- Packaging materials must not be used for playing. There is a risk of suffocation!
ATTENTION! RISK OF MATERIAL DAMAGE!
- Do not use any external timer or remote control system to operate the appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance on a hot surface or near heat sources (e.g., hob, oven).
- Never switch the appliance off during operation and then switch it back on. The frozen ice cream mixture could block and damage the whisk.
- Ensure that the freezing bowl is completely dry before freezing.
- Only place the freezing bowl in the freezer or refrigerator, not the entire appliance.
- Never heat the freezing bowl to over 40 °C.
- Do not use metallic utensils to remove the finished ice cream from the freezing bowl, as they could damage the interior. A silicone scraper or wooden spoon is recommended.
- Add the prepared ingredient mixture to the running freezing bowl only after switching on the appliance and when it is already running.
- Operate the appliance exclusively with the supplied accessories.
WARNING! HEALTH HAZARD!
Preparing ice cream with raw eggs carries a risk of salmonella. Therefore, observe the following hygiene recommendations.
- If eggs have been stored for too long or refrigerated inadequately, salmonella can multiply. Therefore, always use fresh, well-chilled eggs. For individuals with weakened immune systems, such as children or the elderly, completely refrain from recipes with raw eggs.
- Salmonella are not killed by deep freezing and can also multiply in thawed ice cream. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to consume the ice cream immediately after preparation. If stored in the refrigerator, the ice cream must be consumed within 24 hours of preparation. In the freezer at -18 °C, it will keep for a maximum of one week.
- Never refreeze thawed ice cream!
- Thoroughly clean the ice cream maker and all utensils used for preparing ice cream after use.

- Remove packaging material and any stickers from the appliance.
- Clean all parts as described in the Cleaning chapter to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Place the lid 3 onto the motor unit 2 (see Fig. B on the fold-out page). Both locking tabs must audibly click into place.
- Insert the shaft 4 from below into the motor unit 2.
- Attach the whisk 5 onto the shaft 4.
- Place the plastic ring 7 onto the outer bowl 8. The grips of the plastic ring 7 must align with the corresponding recesses of the outer bowl 8.
- Place the freezing bowl 6 onto the plastic ring 7.
- Place the lid 3 with the motor unit 2 and the mounted whisk 5 onto the plastic ring 7. Turn the lid 3 clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Plug the power plug into an electrical socket. The appliance is now ready for use.
Preparations
For good results, both the freezing bowl 6 and the prepared ice cream mixture must be well chilled beforehand.
- Place the freezing bowl 6 in a freezer/deep freezer for approx. 24 hours at a temperature of at least -18 °C.
Note: Ensure that the freezing bowl 6 is completely dry before placing it in the freezer/deep freezer. Before freezing, place the freezing bowl 6 in a freezer bag and seal it as tightly as possible. This prevents ice or frost from forming in the freezing bowl 6. Store the freezing bowl 6 upright in the freezer/deep freezer. Remove the freezing bowl 6 from the freezer only immediately before processing the prepared ice cream mixture. This prevents unnecessary warming of the freezing bowl 6.
Making Ice Cream
Before preparing the ice cream, store fruits and liquid ingredients such as milk, soy milk, or cream in the refrigerator. This way, they will already be cold, and the mixture will take less time to cool down.
Puree fruits with a blender and mix them with all ingredients specified in the recipe.
Store the mixture in the refrigerator for approx. 4 hours.
Note: Dairy products with high fat content, such as cream or mascarpone, make the ice cream particularly creamy and enhance its flavor. We recommend using powdered sugar to sweeten the mixture. This makes the ice cream firmer and forms fewer ice crystals. Only partially defrost frozen fruits, as they are easier to puree this way.
ATTENTION! Always switch on the appliance first before adding ingredients! Otherwise, the ice cream mixture will freeze immediately on the walls of the freezing bowl 6 and block the whisk 5. This will overheat the motor!
Never stop the appliance during the preparation process. Otherwise, the ice cream mixture will freeze immediately on the walls of the freezing bowl 6 and block the whisk 5. This will overheat the motor!
- Remove the freezing bowl 6 from the freezer/deep freezer and take it out of the freezer bag.
- Assemble the appliance as described in the "Assembling the Appliance" chapter.
- Switch on the appliance by turning the rotary switch 1 to the "I" position. The whisk 5 will then start rotating.
- Next, pour the prepared ice cream mixture through the filling opening 9 into the freezing bowl 6. For this, we recommend using a container with a spout for pouring liquids. However, never fill the container with more than 700 ml of the mixture. The volume of the mixture increases during preparation.
- Let the appliance run until you are satisfied with the consistency of the mixture. The ice cream will be ready, at the latest, after 40 minutes.
Note: If the ice cream does not reach the desired consistency after a maximum of 40 minutes, place it in the freezer until it does.
- Switch off the appliance by setting the rotary switch 1 to the "O" position and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Turn the lid 3 counter-clockwise until you can remove it.
- Remove the whisk 5 from the ice cream. If ice adheres to it, scrape it off with a silicone spoon or similar tool.
- Scoop the ice cream out of the freezing bowl 6. The ice cream is soft enough to be served immediately with a spoon.
ATTENTION! Do not use metallic utensils to remove the finished ice cream from the freezing bowl 6, as they could damage the interior. A silicone scraper or wooden spoon is recommended.
Recipes
Note: Recipes are without guarantee. All ingredient and preparation details are guideline values. Supplement these recipe suggestions with your personal experience.

Cleaning
DANGER! Always pull the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
Never immerse the motor unit 2 in liquid and prevent liquids from entering the housing of the motor unit 2.
ATTENTION! Do not use aggressive, chemical, or abrasive cleaning agents, as they can damage the appliance's surface. During cleaning, ensure that no moisture penetrates the appliance to avoid irreparable damage.
If the appliance is still assembled, disassemble it for cleaning:
- Turn the lid 3 counter-clockwise until you can remove it.
- Pull the shaft 4 out of the receptacle in the lid 3.
- Separate the whisk 5 from the shaft 4.
- Separate the lid 3 from the motor unit 2 by pressing the two locking tabs that protrude through the lid 3 slightly inwards, so that the motor unit 2 detaches from the lid 3 (see Fig. 1).
Hold the plastic ring 7 by the handles and lift the plastic ring 7 and the freezing bowl 6 out of the outer bowl 8.
Clean the motor unit 2 with a damp cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, add a little mild dish soap to the cloth. Then wipe with a cloth dampened with clean water. Ensure that no dish soap residue remains on the appliance and that it is completely dry before reuse.
Once the freezing bowl 6 has reached room temperature, clean it in a sink with a little mild dish soap and water at a maximum temperature of 40 °C. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any dish soap residue.
Rinse the lid 3, shaft 4, whisk 5, plastic ring 7, and outer bowl 8 in warm water with a little dish soap. Rinse these parts again with clean water to ensure all dish soap residue is removed.
Note: You can also clean the whisk 5 and the lid 3 (without motor unit 2) in the dishwasher. If possible, place the parts in the upper basket of the dishwasher and ensure they are not trapped.
Before using the appliance again, ensure all parts are completely dry.
