Scooter Assembly

Assembling Accessories List: Screws (x7), Gland Screw (x1), Stem Hook (x1), Screw Wrench (x2), Rubber Plug (x2).

Assembly Steps:

  1. After opening the package, check all accessories against the list. If parts are loose, arrange them as shown.
  2. Keep the vehicle body fixed. Attach the front fork part to the stem tube. Assemble the screw and insert it using the screw wrench. Do not overtighten initially; you can tighten it after adjusting the handlebar.
  3. Adjust the handlebar and dashboard. Ensure the side with the light faces forward. Place the scooter on its kickstand. Align the handlebar and rear wheel. Tighten the Gland Screw. Fasten the screws below the folding parts.
  4. Unfold the scooter by pulling up the stem. Route the cable inside the tube. Check if the handlebar moves smoothly. Insert the two rubber plugs into their correct upper and lower holes.
  5. Put back the stem and lock the folding wrench. Check if the scooter powers ON/OFF normally.
  6. Fasten the 5 screws to fix the handlebar (2 on the sides, 1 in the middle back of the stem).
  7. Lock the stem hook with 2 screws, ensuring the longer part of the hook points upward.
  8. Before riding, fasten all screws mentioned and check if power ON/OFF and other functions work normally.

Initial Use

There are safety risks when using scooters. Before initial use, users must carefully read the safe driving guide through the APP. For safety, the new scooter is not activated and will provide intermittent beep prompts after booting. Before activation, the speed is very low and functions are limited. You need to install the Inmotion App on your mobile device (Bluetooth 4.0 and above), connect your scooter via Bluetooth, and activate it as prompted by the APP.

Scan the QR code to download the Inmotion App.

  1. Install the Inmotion App on Android or iOS devices, register, and log in.
  2. When the scooter is turned on, Bluetooth enters waiting connection mode by default. Connect the scooter with the APP. The Bluetooth icon remains on once connection is successful, allowing app operation.
  3. Follow the app prompts to activate the scooter and learn safe driving. You can then start using your scooter and check its status and functions via the APP.

Connect the charger

Steps: Open the cover of charging ports and plug in the charger. Cover back after charging.

Warning: Use the original charger, otherwise the battery may be damaged or cause danger! Do not connect the charger when the charging port or charging cable is wet! If the battery is damaged or gets into water, it is forbidden to charge or continue to use the battery!

How to Ride

Please take safety measures when riding, such as wearing sports clothes, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and other protective tools.

  1. Long press the power ON/OFF button until the ring lights are fully illuminated. Check the battery indicator. If the remaining battery is too low, please charge immediately.
  2. Stand on the footrest with one foot, and use the other foot to push off the ground to begin gliding. The motor can only be started after the vehicle speed reaches 3km/h. Gently press the throttle on the right handlebar to ride slowly. Hold the handlebar to control the riding direction (similar to riding a bicycle).
  3. Gently press the throttle on the right handlebar to accelerate, but do not go too fast. Hold the brake to slow down (try to avoid emergency braking). When the scooter stops or taxis slowly, get down one foot first, then dismount normally.

Note: To avoid accidental touch, by factory default, the motor and throttle will start only when the scooter is in the "taxi state", and the throttle does not work after the scooter stops.

Potential Safety Hazards

⚠️ Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury.

Folding and Carrying

To Fold: Power off the scooter. Hold the mast with one hand, and with the other hand, press the fold-unlock button and pull back the folding wrench. Then fold the mast backward. After folding down the mast, press down the folding ring, align it with the hook on the rear end of the footrest, and release the folding ring to hook it successfully.

To Unfold: Press down the mast, at the same time hold the folding ring until it releases from the hook, and straighten the mast to ensure the folding wrench locks back into its position tightly.

You can carry the scooter after folding.

Daily Care and Maintenance

Cleaning and storage

Wipe the main frame of the scooter with a soft damp cloth. For stains difficult to clean, brush repeatedly with a toothbrush and toothpaste, then clean with a soft damp cloth. Tips: Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive, volatile solvents to clean your scooter, as these may damage the appearance and internal structure. It is forbidden to spray the scooter with a pressure water-gun or water pipe.

Warning: Before cleaning, ensure the scooter is powered off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber cover of the charging port is fastened. Otherwise, it may cause damage to electronic components or the battery. When the scooter is not in use, place it in a bright and dry place. Do not park the scooter outdoors. Sun exposure or extreme temperature conditions (overheating and too cold) will accelerate the aging of plastic parts and may reduce battery life.

Battery dis-assembly and maintenance

Do not remove the battery unless necessary, as it is complicated and may affect scooter operation. It is best to let a professional install tires. Improper operation may cause instability or other failures.

  1. Do not use batteries from unauthorized third parties; this may pose safety risks.
  2. Recharge the scooter with the original charger; otherwise, there may be a risk of damage or fire.
  3. Do not touch battery contacts, or disassemble/pierce the battery case. Avoid short circuits caused by metal objects touching contacts, which may cause battery damage or personal injury.
  4. Do not put the battery into fire, as it may cause failure, overheating, or fire.
  5. Fully charge the scooter before storing it to prolong battery life. Do not exceed the specified temperature limits (refer to the parameter table) while storing and charging.
  6. Improper disposal of used batteries can seriously pollute the environment. Comply with local regulations when disposing of the battery.

A battery in good condition can maintain performance over many miles. Recharge the battery on time to avoid complete drainage. At 22°C, the battery has optimal life and performance. At temperatures below 0°C, battery life and performance may degrade. Check the Inmotion APP for more information.

Reminding & Warnings

Reminding: Please do not try to disassemble the battery, as there is a risk of fire. Users are not allowed to repair parts without authorization.

Warning: Please do not try to disassemble the battery, otherwise there is a risk of fire. Users are not allowed to repair the parts contained in this scooter by themselves, if without authorization.

Warning: Do not ride this scooter when the ambient temperature exceeds the product operating temperature (refer to parameter table). Low/high temperatures can cause power loss, slipping, or falling, resulting in personal injury or property damage.

For product maintenance, repair, and other related questions, please contact your point of purchase or email service@imscv.com.
