Customize Buttons within Games
The Flydigi Wasp allows you to directly control games downloaded from the App Store. Button mapping is achieved by assigning virtual buttons within the game to specific points on the Wasp controller.
The intersection of the X and Y axes represents the fixed projection point for each of the Wasp's four mappable buttons. To map a button, drag a virtual button (e.g., 'shoot' or 'aim') in your game to one of these four points. A mapping ruler is provided to assist with precise placement.
After installation, launch your App Store games and begin playing. The Wasp offers two joystick modes: FPS mode (larger radius for more sensitive control) and MOBA mode (smaller radius). To switch between modes, press and hold the logo button for three seconds.
Example: Fortnite
In Fortnite, navigate to the 'HUD Layout Tool' within the game settings. Drag the desired virtual button (e.g., 'shoot', 'aim') to the corresponding mapping location on the controller interface. This action maps the physical button on the gamepad to the virtual button in the game. Note that only the Left Trigger supports long pressing; any virtual button requiring a long press should be mapped to the Left Trigger's position.
Remember to save your custom button layout within the game for future sessions.
Compatibility: All mobile FPS games, such as Fortnite and PUBG Mobile, support button customization. For games that do not support button customization, joystick control can still be utilized.
