Customizing Buttons within Games
The Wasp-X allows direct control of games downloaded from the App Store. The intersection of the X and Y axes represents the fixed projection point for corresponding virtual buttons from the game. Each of the four physical buttons on the Wasp-X has its own designated point.
How to Map Buttons:
- Drag a virtual button (e.g., for shooting or aiming) from within the game to one of these four projection points. This establishes the connection between the physical button and the virtual icon.
- A mapping ruler can help you locate these points more precisely.
After installation, run your App Store games. The Wasp-X offers two joystick modes: FPS mode (larger radius) and MOBA mode (smaller radius). Press the logo button ? for three seconds to switch modes.
Example with Fortnite:
- Go to the 'HUD Layout Tool' within the game.
- Drag the virtual button to the corresponding mapping location mentioned above. The gamepad button is now mapped to the virtual button.
- Note: Only the Left Trigger supports long pressing. Any virtual button requiring a long press should be mapped to the Left Trigger's position.
- Save the game button layout for future use.
All mobile First-Person Shooter (FPS) games (such as Fortnite & PUBG Mobile) support button customization. For games that do not support button customization, joystick control ?️ can be used.
