5. Installation

5.2. Installation Without Mounting Bracket
- Choose an installation location near a power socket. Turn on the camera and use the app's live view to position it for optimal monitoring.
- Use the included hex wrench to open the dome cover by unfastening three inner hex screws.

- 10. Inner Hex Wrench
- Use the mounting map sticker to mark drilling points: three for screws, one large hole for Ethernet port and power connector.
- Drill the marked points and install plastic anchors. Choose cable exit option:
- For rear exit: Drill a hole matching the large marking on the sticker (ideally SDS-max 20mm drill).
- For side exit: Route cables through the U-shape side exit on the dome pedestal.
NOTE: If a 20mm hole is not feasible (e.g., concrete wall), the Ethernet port can be cut off (see Chapter 2) and sealed. This requires a 12mm drill. Warning: Cutting the Ethernet port disables wired connection and may void the return right.
- Align the dome camera with the sticker and fix screws into the anchors.
- Adjust the camera lens using the rotation bracket (355° horizontal, 64° vertical). Ensure the LED ring is not blocked by the housing.
- Secure the dome housing to the pedestal with the inner hex screws.
- Connect the camera power connector to the power supply cable and plug into a socket. Optionally, connect via Ethernet cable to the router.
Note: When rotating vertically by 64°, pay attention to image rotation to avoid IR light blockage.
5.3. Installation with Mounting Bracket (Optional)
The VIO-DMB1 mounting bracket is an optional accessory. Refer to the bracket's manual for installation.
