Efficient, Clean, Economical: The New FLEX VCE-PS 25 Cyclone Pre-separator
Steinheim, May 2025
The new VCE-PS 25 Cyclone pre-separator from FLEX provides a sophisticated solution for dust separation, simplifying work across various trades. It is beneficial for drywall builders, joiners, carpenters, parquet, tile, and floor layers, as well as painters and interior decorators. This system proves particularly effective in renovation, refurbishment, and the wood sector.
The FLEX VCE-PS 25 Cyclone pre-separator is designed for simple handling and efficient dust disposal. Its cyclone technology reliably separates coarse and fine dust, protecting the main filters of connected safety vacuum cleaners and significantly extending their service life. This saves time and money on filter bag changes and prevents the accidental spread of dust during vacuum cleaner emptying. The pre-separator box can be easily carried outside, emptied, and cleaned, even with a high-pressure cleaner. This method is cleaner, more practical, and time-saving, especially for tasks requiring frequent emptying, such as bathroom renovations.
Lightweight with Ample Capacity
With a 25-liter capacity, a weight of just 4.1 kg, and two convenient carrying handles, the VCE-PS 25 Cyclone is easy to transport and flexible to use. Its horizontal cyclone construction ensures a compact, stable design, allowing for flexible handling even in confined construction sites. A 1-meter connecting hose further supports versatile application.
Convenient Use for Effectiveness and Cost Savings
The antistatic equipment safely dissipates electrical charges in the suction hose, enhancing working comfort. A transparent container allows users to monitor the fill level, preventing unnecessary work interruptions. The high separation efficiency is a key benefit: when working with mineral or gypsum dust, 95% of the total dust is retained in the pre-separator, with only 5% reaching the vacuum cleaner. For fine sawdust, the separation efficiency reaches 99%. This significantly reduces the need for filter bags for coarse dirt and during renovation work, offering noticeable time and cost savings.
Easy Handling – Usable Wet and Dry
Dust disposal is tool-free, as the cyclone attachment quickly separates from the container. A clip holder ensures secure attachment to FLEX VCE 33 and VCE 44 models when used with the VCE adapter plate.
Featuring a standardized D50 connection, the VCE-PS 25 Cyclone pre-separator is compatible with all FLEX safety vacuum cleaners. It maintains an almost constant volume flow, allowing seamless operation with M-Class vacuum cleaners equipped with airflow monitoring. The FLEX pre-separator is also robust for wet applications, handling water or damp dirt without issue. By preventing dust from settling on the vacuum cleaner's motor head, which is often positioned close to the floor, it helps avoid contamination.
This new product from FLEX offers an efficient, well-designed, and practical solution for professional tradespeople who prioritize clean results, economical operation, and a robust, easy-to-maintain system. It is a true labor-saving tool for any construction site. The VCE-PS 25 Cyclone will be available in stores from June 2025.
