FLEX VCE-PS 25 Cyclone: Efficient, Clean, and Economical Dust Separation with Cyclone Technology
Steinheim, May 2025
Abstract
The new FLEX VCE-PS 25 Cyclone pre-separator offers a sophisticated solution for dust separation, simplifying work across various trades. It is particularly beneficial for drywall installers, carpenters, parquet, tile, and flooring installers, as well as painters and interior finishers. The system is ideally suited for renovation and remodeling projects, as well as woodworking.
The FLEX VCE-PS 25 Cyclone impresses with its simple handling and effective dust separation. Utilizing cyclone technology, it reliably separates coarse and fine dust, thereby protecting the main filters of connected safety vacuums and significantly extending their lifespan. This not only saves time and money on vacuum bag replacements but also eliminates the risk of inadvertently spreading dust when emptying the vacuum. Instead, the pre-separator container can be easily carried out, emptied directly, and thoroughly cleaned, even with a high-pressure washer. This method is cleaner, more practical, and saves time, especially in applications like bathroom renovations where the vacuum needs frequent emptying.
Lightweight with Ample Capacity
With a 25-liter capacity, a weight of only 4.1 kg, and two convenient carrying handles, the VCE-PS 25 Cyclone is easy to transport and flexible to use. Its horizontal cyclone design ensures a compact and stable structure, allowing for very flexible handling, even in confined construction sites. A 1-meter connection hose enables versatile use of the machine.
Convenient Use for Efficiency and Cost Savings
The antistatic equipment ensures safe discharge of static electricity in the suction hose, enhancing user comfort. The transparent container allows constant monitoring of the dust level, preventing unnecessary work interruptions. The high separation efficiency is particularly noteworthy: when working with mineral or gypsum dust, 95% of all dust is retained in the pre-separator, with only 5% reaching the vacuum cleaner. For fine sawdust, the separation rate is as high as 99%. This translates to savings on vacuum bags for heavy-duty cleaning and renovation tasks, benefiting both time and budget.
Simple Handling and Wet/Dry Use Capability
Dust can be managed tool-free, as the cyclone attachment can be quickly separated from the container. The clip fastener ensures secure locking onto FLEX VCE 33 and VCE 44 models when used with the VCE adapter plate.
Thanks to the standardized D50 connection, the VCE-PS 25 Cyclone pre-separator is compatible with all FLEX safety vacuum cleaners. An additional advantage is the nearly constant airflow, ensuring that even M-class vacuums with airflow monitoring can be used seamlessly with the pre-separator. The FLEX pre-separator is also robust and reliable for wet applications, handling water or damp debris without issue. Furthermore, by preventing dust from settling near the vacuum's motor, which is often located close to the floor, the use of the pre-separator helps maintain a cleaner work environment.
With this new product, FLEX offers an efficient, well-thought-out, and practical solution for professional tradespeople who value clean results, economical work, and a robust, easy-to-maintain system. It is a genuine work-saving solution for all construction sites. The VCE-PS 25 will be available in stores starting June 2025.
