1. Overview
Through a local WiFi 2.4G network, the WiFi 2.4G adapter can transmit all operational data from the EPEVER solar controller, inverter, or inverter/charger to the EPEVER cloud server in real-time. Users can remotely monitor the connected devices and program parameters via the EPEVER server, mobile APP, or the large screen.

- The parameter setting exceeds the WiFi terminal's limit.
- Damage caused by working temperature exceeds the rated range.
- Unauthorized dismantles or attempted repairs.

5. WiFi on Cloud (connect the device to the EPEVER cloud server)
CAUTION: Please get the Android or IOS version of the EPEVER cloud APP according to your phone system and install it successfully.

Step 1: Connect the WiFi module to the device
Connect the WiFi module to the device using the appropriate connection cable for the COM port.

Step 2: Open the APP and log in
Open the EPEVER Cloud APP. Click the "EPEVER Cloud" icon and input your account credentials to log in.

Step 3: Select a project
Click the "Plant" icon (this may appear as a "Light" icon if using the streetlight account) and select an existing project or create a new one.

Step 4: Add Device
On the "Plant List" page, click the "Add Device" button (represented by a '+' icon).

Step 5: Select device to add
Choose the specific device you wish to add to the cloud server from the list presented.

Step 6: Select WiFi module
Select the connected WiFi module from the available options.

Step 7: Input ID and Confirm
Input the device ID (or scan the QR code) found on the module's label and click "Confirm".

Step 8: Check IMEI recording
This page confirms if the module's IMEI has been recorded in the cloud server. Click "Next" to proceed.
(Option) If the module's IMEI has not been recorded, you may see a "Connect RTU" option. Click this to jump to WiFi settings, connect your phone to the "HN_xx" WiFi network (password on module label), and then return to the APP.

Step 9: Input router password
Enter your WiFi router's password and click "Next". Ensure your router is broadcasting on a 2.4G WiFi band.
(Option) After returning to the APP, click "Read device". Copy the device ID and IMEI, and send them to EPEVER technical support. The module can typically be added after it is recorded in the cloud server.

Step 10: Connect to module WiFi
Click "Set up Wi-Fi". Connect your phone to the "HN_xx" WiFi network (refer to the module's label for the password). Once connected, return to the APP and click "Next".

Step 11: Enter configuration page
You will now enter the WiFi module's configuration page. Do not disconnect the network while configuring the RTU.

Step 12: Confirm and complete
Click "Confirm" to go to the WiFi setting. Reconnect your phone to your regular router WiFi. Return to the APP; the Plant or light project should now be displayed, indicating successful connection.
6. Local Debugging (direct point-to-point communication with the device via WiFi)

Step 1: Connect WiFi module
Connect the WiFi module to the device. Refer to Step 1 in chapter 5, "WiFi on Cloud", for connection figures.

Step 2: Open APP and select "Local"
Open the EPEVER APP and click the "Local" icon.

Step 3: Access phone WiFi settings
Click the "WiFi" option or navigate to your phone's WiFi settings.

Step 4: Connect to module WiFi
Connect your phone to the "HN_xx" WiFi network (refer to the module's label for the password).

Step 5: Return to APP and select module
After the WiFi connection is established, return to the EPEVER APP and click on the connected WiFi module.

Step 6: Auto-identify or manually select device
The APP will attempt to auto-identify the connected device. You can also select the device manually if needed.

Step 7: View real-time data
After the device connection is successful, the real-time data page will be displayed. Click the icon in the top right corner to access further options.

Step 8: Parameter settings
Navigate to the parameter setting page to read and write related parameters for the device.
