This guide provides instructions for your BISSELL SpotClean Little Green portable carpet cleaner.

Unpacking: Your package should contain the following items:

• BISSELL SpotClean Little Green main unit.
• Hose assembly.
• Cleaning tool (various types may be included, e.g., with brush).
• A bottle of BISSELL cleaning formula.
• A screw (potentially for assembly or securing parts).

Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your SpotClean Little Green:

1. Connect the Hose: Attach the flexible hose to the designated port on the back of the main unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. Connect Cleaning Tool: Attach the appropriate cleaning tool (e.g., the one with the brush) to the other end of the hose.
3. Secure Hose: Ensure the hose is properly connected to both the main unit and the cleaning tool.

Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance on hose and tool connections.

Filling the Clean Water Tank

Before use, fill the clean water tank with the recommended cleaning solution and water.

1. Lift the lid of the clean water tank on the main unit.
2. Carefully remove the clean water tank from the unit.
3. Add the appropriate BISSELL cleaning formula to the tank. Check the formula bottle for recommended amounts.
4. Fill the remainder of the tank with clean hot water (up to 60°C / 140°F). Do not use boiling water.
5. Replace the clean water tank securely into the main unit.
6. Close the clean water tank lid.

Note: Use only BISSELL cleaning formulas designed for this machine. Available formulas include Spot & Stain, Pet Stain & Odour, Natural Pet Spot & Stain, Spot & Stain Pro Oxy, and Oxygen Boost.

Operating the SpotClean Little Green

Use the machine to clean carpet and upholstery stains.

1. Ensure the hose is correctly connected to the unit and the cleaning tool.
2. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Turn on the machine by pressing the power button.
4. Place the cleaning tool onto the stained area.
5. Press the spray trigger on the cleaning tool to dispense the cleaning solution.
6. Gently scrub the stain with the brush on the cleaning tool.
7. Release the spray trigger to suction up the dirty liquid. Move the cleaning tool back and forth over the area to extract moisture.

Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Refer to the diagrams for detailed operation steps.

Emptying the Dirty Water Tank

The dirty water tank needs to be emptied when full or when the machine is turned off.

1. Locate the latch on the dirty water tank and release it to detach the tank from the main unit.
2. Remove the lid from the dirty water tank.
3. Empty the dirty water into a sink or toilet.
4. Rinse the dirty water tank and its lid with clean water.
5. For a thorough rinse of the machine, you may fill the dirty water tank with clean water, reattach it, and run the machine briefly to flush the internal hoses. Then, empty and rinse the tank again.
6. Reassemble the dirty water tank and lid and reinsert it into the main unit.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your BISSELL SpotClean Little Green.

1. After Each Use:
   • Unplug the machine from the power outlet.
   • Empty and rinse the dirty water tank.
   • Rinse the cleaning tool thoroughly under running water.
   • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
2. Drying Components: Allow all components, including the hose and cleaning tool, to dry completely before storing. This may take up to 24 hours for some parts.
3. Storage: Store the machine and accessories in a clean, dry place.

• Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.

• Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged.
